Planning Your Barcelona Visit

What are the top 5 sights I can not miss in Barcelona?
Best five in Barcelona are : La Pedrera, Sagrada Família, Park Guell, Port Vell, Museu Nacional d Art de Catalunya, Casa Batlo. La Rambla is a street of 1.2 kms long in central Barcelona full of excellent restaurant options of local and international gastronomy. That is the right place to find and buy anything you want.
Free things to do in Barcelona?
"Walk down La Rambla, it can get a little crowded but it's a fun lively area to be in with a lot of locals and markets to browse through. Also try the Petit Palace Boquería and then, for a place you have to see to believe, go to the Parc Güell. The La Pedrera is always a cool/werid site to see. I've honestly lived here my whole life and I never get tired of this place. It’s so unique to the world and I’ve never seen anything quite like it. The entrance fee is 24 dollars I think but just a free stroll around the outside is cool enough. Spend a day at the Barceloneta beach. Fun crowds and it's a really nice beach, and you don't have to pay anything."
What is the best way to travel in Barcelona?
"The city is very compact so it takes fast to move around the city.Metro is the most comfortable way, taxi with very reasonable tariffs and if you like to walk you will find that pretty much everything is walkable distance. I recommend taking touristic bus for the first day to get the general view of the city as this is your first time here. Further as a must do you could see Gaudi s architecture- La Pedrera, Sagrada Família, Parc Güell, Casa Batlló."
