Day 2: Calgary - Cave and Basin National Historic Site - Banff National Park - Banff Town

Summary of The Day

Pick all of the guests in the early morning. Driving on the #1HWY, we are heading to the Canadian Rockies, one the best tourism Countries by ”The Lonely Planet” in 2017.

After around 100-min drive, we will arrive at the Banff National park. Our first stop is Sulphur Mountain, where guests can take the Gondola ride (optional, approx. 70 mins) to enjoy the panoramic view of the splendid Rocky Mountains.

Then, we wonder around at Cave and Basin National Historic Site (approx. 40 mins. NOTE: during April 15-May 14, it is closed every Monday and we will go to HOODOOS instead) to know about the history of this National Park.

At noon, we will have a lunch stop at Fairmont Banff Spring Hotel. You will enjoy the special lunch (optional, approx.1 hour) at this Scottish castle.

After Lunch, we go to the Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, followed by Johnston Canyon.

In the evening, we will drive to Banff Town and and you can choose to join our Banff Night Tour(optional, approx. 2hrs) or enjoy some leisure time.

Day 3: Banff Town - Jasper National Park

Summary of The Day

Departing from Hotel at approx.9:30, passing by Crowfoot Mt., we will have a short stop at "Bow Lake", the "Num-ti-jah Inn", which tells the story of the Rocky Mountain Legend Guide Gimmi Thompson family.

Then, we will drive along the Icefields Parkway.

At noon, we will dine at Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre (lunch buffet is at your own expense)

In the afternoon, we start our the adventure at Jasper National Park: you’ll travel on a massive Ice Explorer (snowcoach) to a place where you can walk on, feel and drink from the Athabasca Glacier. Then, take a jaw-dropping walk along the glass-floored Glacier Skywalk and step high above Sunwapta Valley.

Afterwards, we will visit the Athabasca Falls.

At last, we will drive to the Jasper Town, where we stay over tonight.

You can grab a drink at Jasper Brewing Co and enjoy some free time in the town.

The night club at Athabasca Hotel is open for Fridays, and weekends. Some hotel rooms MAY be affected by the music.

You cannot get to Athabasca Glacier without taking the Ice Explorer. Glacier Adventure (Ice Explorer + Skywalk) need reservation and prepaid. Please select at the time of booking.

Day 4: Jasper National Park - Banff Town

Summary of The Day

Departing from Jasper Hotel. Passing through the Medicine Lake, We will reach Maligne Lake (seasonal, will be replaced by Pyramid Lake or Patrick Lake if unavailable), you can choose to take the Maligne Lake Cruise (subject to availability) to see the Sprite Island. After that, we reach the wonderful Maligne Canyon

At noon, we will dine in Jasper Town.

Then we go southwards with a short stop at the crossing. The wildlife is easy to see in the Rockies. Make sure your camera is ready.

At last, we will head to Banff Town and stay overnight there.

At night, you can have a walk by Bow Lake or enjoy a hot bath at Banff Upper Hotsprings (C$10/person)

Maligne Lake - a lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is famed for the colour of its water, the surrounding peaks, the three glaciers visible from the lake and Spirit Island, a frequently photographed islet. The lake is located 44 km (27 mi) south of Jasper town, and is accessible by motor vehicle, including shuttle buses from Jasper. Boat tours run to Spirit Island in the spring to autumn season. The 44 km Skyline Trail, Jasper's most popular, highest and above treeline, multi-day hike, begins at Maligne Lake and finishes near the town of Jasper. Spirit Island - Spirit Island is a tiny tied island in Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park. Day 5: Banff Town - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park - Calgary

Summary of The Day

Departing from the Hotel at about 9:30 AM, we will head west, passing Castle Mountain, to Lake Louise (approx. 90-min stay). Against the Victoria Glacier and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Lake Louise is the most popular sight among the tourists.

At noon, we arrange a buffet (at your own expense) at Lake Louise Resort for our guests.

After lunch, you can choose to take a Lake Louise Gondola Ride (optional).

Next, visit Moraine Lake (seasonal opening/replacement: Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka ). Set in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles.

Then, passing through Spiral tunnel, we will enter Yoho National Park see the Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge.

The bus will make a stop in Banff town and will be back to Calgary around 6:30PM-7:00PM (subject to traffic and weather conditions).

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. According to BC Government's law, the infants under 2 years old must be served a seat and you should bring safety seat by yourselves.

    7. For the sake of fairness, the tour guide will arrange the seats every day.

    8. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $35 per baggage.

    9. Guests are not allowed to smoke in hotels, otherwise they will be fined at least $350.

    10. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring American passport or Green Card, or bring valid American and Canadian visas.

    11. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    12. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:  

      - U.S. permanent residents (with the green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

      How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail
