Day 1: Home – Washington D.C.

Summary of The Day

Today our professional tour guide will meet guests at the passenger waiting area of the Baggage Claim.

Complimentary pick-up service of Dulles airport (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) are available during 9:00AM - 10:00PM. Guests might need to wait for other passengers. In addition, an optional night tour is available with at least 4 enrolled guests of arrival before 5:00PM ($25/person).

1. Free DCA & IAD airport pick-up: 9:00AM - 10:00PM. You may need to wait for other passengers at the airport.

2. If you arrive at BWI airport, you can choose paid pick-up service or go to the hotel by yourself.

Paid 24-hour airport transport service:

For IAD/DCA airport passengers, $120 per first two persons with $10 for each additional person;

For BWI airport passengers, $200 per first two persons with $10 for each additional person.

Day 2: Washington D.C. In-depth Tour

Summary of The Day

We will begin our day with visiting inside of the U.S. Capitol (approx. 90 minutes), the home for the US Congress.

We will also visit the Library of Congress (approx. 30 minutes) in the U.S. Capitol, it has served the United States congress for more than 200 years.

Then we will go to Virginia to see the Pentagon, the U.S. Department of Defense, from outside. In front of the Pentagon, it's the National 911 Pentagon Memorial (approx. 15 minutes).

After that, we will head to George Washington's Mount Vernon (approx. 120 minutes). After the death of his older half-brother, Lawrence, in 1752, George Washington took up residence at the house that his father, Augustine Washington, had built in 1735. Here, he was notified of becoming the first President at the age of 57. The interiors have been meticulously restored to their appearance in 1799.

Our next stop in the afternoon is the International Spy Museum (approx. 60 minutes), which is the only museum that only exhibits spy related contents.

Day 3: Washington D.C. – Philadelphia

Summary of The Day

We will head to Washington D.C. and go to the National Mall (also known as the Capitol Hill). The National Mall sees millions of visitors and protestors every year, but it has also played as host to many history-making events.

Next, we will visit the Lincoln Memorial (approx. 30 minutes).

Additionally, we will stop at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (approx. 15 minutes) and the Korean War Memorial (approx. 15 minutes).

Then we will visit the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (approx. 90 mintues). We will take a glance at the human aviation and space heritage as well as have a vision of space travel in the future through thousands of objects on display, including the 1903 Wright Flyer, Charles Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis, the Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia, and a lunar rock you can touch.

Later we can take photos with backdrops of the White House (approx. 20 minutes) and the U.S. Capitol (approx. 20 Minutes) due to the visit limitation for the public.

Along the way, you will also see and pass by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial and more.

Heading Northeast, we will visit Philadelphia which is known as the birthplace of American democracy.

Last but not least, we will go to downtown to visit Liberty Observation Deck (approx. 60 minutes), which is the only observation deck in Philadelphia. Guests will stand on the shoulder of Philadelphia's "giant", Benjamin Franklin, to see the historic city through a splendid 360- degree view.

Day 5: Yale University – Boston

Summary of The Day

Starting early in the morning, we will visit Yale University (approx. 60 minutes) to view its Gothic Style campus and to learn the interesting history of this colonial school. Walk around where students live and study, visit one of the most famous libraries in world on Yale campus (ONLY public area of the school is available to visit during exam time).

After enjoying a wonderful red lobster feast in Boston, we will travel to the city of Cambridge, MA and visit the Harvard University (approx. 60 minutes). Here, you will find Harvard's oldest campus and take pictures with the statue of John Harvard, known as the "Statue of Three Lies". Also, we will have a chance to take pictures with the backdrop of MIT's main buildings (approx. 15 minutes).

Later, we will go sightseeing in the Boston city. We will pass by the old Trinity Cathedral, the Hancock Building, the Boston Park, Prudential Center, and Boston Public Library along the way while overlooking the gold dome of the State House. We will take the Boston Harbor Cruise (approx. 60 minutes) in the afternoon.

Upon completion of the tour, we will send you to Boston Logan International Airport for flights home.

    8. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    9. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.
