Day 1: Hometown – Toronto Airport Pick-up

Summary of The Day

Today, upon your arrival in Toronto, you will be met and transfer to your hotel. (24-hour hotel transfer services)

*If guests arrive before 3 PM, they may choose to join the optional tours, which must be booked in advance:

Unionville Tour: $35 per person, minimum 2 people (available from May 18 to Oct 19 only)

Once you arrive at YYZ airport, you'll be greeted by a tour representative and transferred to your local hotel. (24/7 airport transfer service; you can also be picked up in any hotel or designated points in Toronto City. Please leave a note in Additional Comments at the time of booking.)

Day 2: Toronto – Muskoka Lake – Sudbury

Summary of The Day

Departing from Toronto in the morning, we will drive north to Gravenhurst, where Dr. Norman Bethune was born and where his family's home was located. We will embark the Segwun Steamship to cruise the Muskoka Lakes. Segwun steamship is the oldest operating steam driven vessel in North America, built in 1887. As we cruise on the Muskoka Lakes, we will pass by Millionaire's Row, a stretch of shoreline famous for grand summer homes, many dating back to the turn of the century.

Afterward, we will move to the city of Sudbury, and  stop at the Big Nickel, a monument to the city's nickel-mining industry. We will visiting the Science North, the city's museum of science and technology; here, we can enjoy all the museum has to offer, including the Butterfly Gallery and an interactive movie Wildfires! A Fire fighting Adventure in 4D.

Day 3: Sudbury – Algonquin – Toronto

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, we will drive all the way across the Canadian highway, along the Nipissing lake scenery to North Bay. 

Afterward, we'll arrive at the famous Algonquin Park. The essence of Algonquin is in its vast interior of maple hills, rocky ridges, and thousands of lakes. 

In the evening, we'll end our tour back in Toronto.

Day 4: Toronto – Niagara Falls – Toronto

Summary of The Day

You will depart early morning to the world renowned Niagara Falls via Downtown Toronto. There, you'll begin your fall experience with an IMAX Movie and then go up the Skylon Tower for a panoramic view of the magnificent Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls.

After lunch, you will have a chance to ride with the famous Horn blower cruise (seasonal) for a close-up view of the magnificent Falls.

Finally, you will visit Niagara wine region for a taste test of our world famous ice wine before heading back to Toronto airport.

Ice Wine Village

Ice wine

Ice wine is a type of dessert wine produced from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. The sugars and other dissolved solids do not freeze, but the water does, allowing for a more concentrated grape juice to develop. The grapes' must is pressed from the frozen grapes, resulting in a smaller amount of more concentrated, very sweet wine. With ice wines, the freezing happens before the fermentation, not afterwards. Unlike the grapes from which other dessert wines are made, such as Sauternes, Tokaji, or Trockenbeerenauslese, ice wine grapes should not be affected by Botrytis cinerea or noble rot, at least not to any great degree. Only healthy grapes keep in good shape until the opportunity arises for an ice wine harvest, which in extreme cases can occur after the New Year, on a northern hemisphere calendar. This gives ice wine its characteristic refreshing sweetness balanced by high acidity. When the grapes are free of Botrytis, they are said to come in "clean".

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), the tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary.

    4. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable. 

    5. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. is not refundable.

    6. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    7. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    8. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring U.S. passport, green card or valid U.S. and Canada visa.

    9. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    10. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:    

       - U.S. permanent residents (with a green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

       How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
