Itinerary

Day 1: Hometown – Toronto Airport Pick-up

Summary of The Day

Today, upon your arrival in Toronto, you will be met and transfer to your hotel. (24-hour hotel transfer services)

*If guests arrive before 3 PM, they may choose to join the optional tours, which must be booked in advance:

Unionville Tour: $35 per person, minimum 2 people (available from May 18 to Oct 19 only)

Once you arrive at YYZ airport, you'll be greeted by a tour representative and transferred to your local hotel. (24/7 airport transfer service; you can also be picked up in any hotel or designated points in Toronto City. Please leave a note in Additional Comments at the time of booking.)

Day 2: Toronto – Sudbury – Sault Ste. Marie

Summary of The Day

Starting early from Toronto, we will drive north to the city of Sudbury.

After lunch, we'll first go to visit Science North, the city's museum of science and technology.

After dinner, we will check into the hotel in Sault Ste. Marie.

Day 4: Sault Ste. Marie – Muskokalake – Toronto

Summary of The Day

Leaving from Sault Ste. Marie, we will travel to another famous site for fall colours, Gravenhurst, where Dr. Norman Bethune was born and where his family's home was located. 

Then we will embark on the Segwun Steamship (*seasonal) to cruise the Muskoka Lakes. Built in 1887, Segwun steamship is the oldest operating steam driven vessel in North America. As we cruise on the Muskoka Lakes, we will pass by Millionaire's Row, a stretch of shoreline famous for grand summer homes.

In the evening, we will head back in Toronto.

Day 5: Toronto – Niagara Falls

Summary of The Day

Departing early morning to the world renowned Niagara Falls, you can begin your fall experience with an IMAX movie - Niagara: Miracles, Myths & Magic, to learn about the shocking and exiting history of Niagara Falls upon arrival.

You will then go up the Skylon Tower for a panoramic view of the magnificent Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls.

Afterward, we can head to the Journey Behind the Falls, elevator descend 150 ft through bedrock to tunnels, where have access to outdoor observation decks and two portals located directly behind the Falls. A whole new way to experience world's famous natural wonder.

Next, you will have a chance to join the optional tour - Niagara Helicopters, which combined adventure and spectacular views. After dinner, you'll have time to enjoy the fun on Clifton Hill, and Falls Illumination.

Day 6: Niagara Falls – Niagara-on-the-lake – YYZ Drop-off

Summary of The Day

Today we will begin the day by visiting the Bird Kingdom. 

Next, we will head to the famous Table Rock Centre at the edge of the Horseshoe Falls, where the fabulous lookout points will place you mere yards away from the thundering Horseshoe Falls.

The Hornblower Niagara Cruise will also bring you as close as possible to the breathtaking flow of water of Niagara Falls. 

After lunch, we will proceed to Niagara-on-the-Lake, often called the loveliest town in Ontario. It is a well-preserved 19th-century village, which has a long and distinguished history. We'll also pay a visit to the Niagara wine region for a taste test of the world-famous ice wine and ginsengs farm before heading back to YYZ Airport.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Adult pricing applies to all travelers.

    4. Prices may fluctuate due to CAD exchange rate.

    5. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional CAD$35 per baggage.

    6. Guests who prefer downtown Toronto transfer please provide the specific address at the time of booking.

    7. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    8. Additional hotel accommodation is subject to availability and may be changed to a similar hotel. Please refer to final confirmation.

    9. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring U.S. passport, green card or valid U.S. and Canada visa.

    10. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:    

      - U.S. permanent residents (with a green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.   

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.   

      How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

    11. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    12. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    13. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
31 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 90% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15-30 Days prior to tour departure date 75% of tour cost paid will be refunded
08-14 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded
07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
