Day 1: Home – Chicago

Summary of The Day

The first day's itinerary is for your reference only; the schedule is subject to change upon your arrival.

For guests who take domestic flights, please wait at Baggage Claim area; 

For guests who take International flights, please wait at the Exit doors after retrieving your luggage. 

Tour guide will lead you to the meeting point. Guests who arrive at O'Hare meeting point before 3:00pm will receive an additional gift - free transportation to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago which features many shopping and dining options. 

Please be noted that there's no complementary airport pickup and shopping option for Midway Airport arrival.

Airport Pick up

1. Complementary airport pickup is provided between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. at O’Hare Airport. (You may have to wait for other guests.) No complementary pick-up service at Midway airport.

2. 24-hour charged pick-up service is available for the first two persons at $120 with $10 for each additional person.

Day 2: U.S. Route 66

Summary of The Day

Today we will first visit the crossing of Adams Street and Michigan Avenue, which is the starting point of Route 66. 

Then we will have breakfast at Lou Mitchell's, also known as "the first stop on the Mother Road". The restaurant has kept its original decoration since 1949 so you can feel Route 66's classic golden age. 

Afterwards, we will stop at Joliet and visit the Old Joliet Prison Park where the famous TV series Prison Break was made. 

Later on, we will visit Pontiac, another important destination on Route 66. We will have a guided museum tour through which you can have a comprehensive understanding of the Mother Road. The tour will be guided by the city staff and includes Route 66 Hall of Fame (the largest collection of Route66 Memorabilia in Illinois), the Pontiac Oakland Automobile Museum (one of the world'sgreatest and most expansive collection of Pontiac) and the Museum of the Gilding Arts (store signs on Route 66 used to be made of gold! Here you can also learn how to make gold leaf).

We will go back to Chicago in the evening.

Millennium Park, a world-famous city garden; Cloud Gate,The Mirror reflects beautiful Image of the City; Buckingham fountain, the Largest Artificial Fountain in the world; Lakeside paradise has the most tourists from China and America . Here is Chicago.

Day 4: Milwaukee - Miller brewery - Lake Geneva - Chicago

Summary of The Day

We will start our day with Milwaukee, the largest industrial city in Wisconsin visiting Harley-Davidson Museum.

After the museum, we will head to historical brewery of the Miller Brewing Company, another pride of Wisconsin.

After lunch, we will go towards Lake Geneva, a favorite resort city for Chicagoans.

We will take a walk alongside the lake and take the popular Geneva Lake cruise(Cruise will be closed in winter) to enjoy the narrated highlights of many of the elegant, historic estates as you travel around the eastern end of the lake known as “Geneva Bay” in approximately one-hour.

We will come back to Chicago around 8:00pm.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. Please note that City Pass and any attraction admission tickets purchased by yourselves are not allowed in the tour.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. Guests are advised to book flights after receiving an E-voucher as confirmation.

    7. Guests are advised to confirm with local tour operators one day ahead of the tour.

    8. Children at 18 or under 18 years old must be accompanied by a partner at 19 or 19+ years old. No pets are allowed in the tour.

    9. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    10. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

25 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 100% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15-24 Days prior to tour departure date 75% of tour cost paid will be refunded

07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

4) For requests to change name of passengers

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
