Day 1: Paris – Versailles – Paris

Summary of The Day

Your Parisian adventures get off to a spectacular start with a drive along the famous Champs Élysées to the Place de la Concorde. You'll also get to see the iconic Arc de Triomphe here too.

You'll take in another significant historical building next as you head to L'Hôtel National des Invalides, where Napoleon's tomb is located, followed by a photo stop at the most legendary of all Paris's icons: the Eiffel Tower.

Finally, you'll travel on the coach out through the Parisian suburbs to the splendid Palace of Versailles.

In the evening, you can enjoy one of our optional Paris evening shows.

Day 2: Paris

Today's experience begins with a visit to the Louvre, one of the world's greatest art museums. You can then take a leisurely cruise along the river Seine, a great sightseeing option that offers splendid views of iconic Parisian landmarks, including Notre-Dame Cathedral and Pont Alexandre III.

Day 4: Lucerne – Milan – Venice

Summary of The Day

Head south from Lucerne through spectacular Switzerland and into northern Italy, where your first stop will be Milan, the fashion capital of the world. Your orientation tour will introduce you to the city's iconic sights, including the Milan Cathedral (Duomo) -- the epitome of Gothic architecture.

You'll also see the planet's oldest shopping mall, the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where you can wander among the boutique shops and eat lunch in one of the refined cafes.

After enjoying the many delights of Milan, you'll head to another vintage Italian city: Venice.

Day 5: Venice – Rome

Summary of The Day

Spend the morning in the company of a knowledgeable local guide as you explore Venice, the most magical of cities. Begin with a water bus ride to San Marco Island, a memorable crossing of the lagoon that gives you a real taste of the city's charm as you approach the dreamy spires and distinctive waterside buildings. 

Once on the island, you'll be led around some of Venice's best-known locations, beginning in the Piazza with the Basilica di San Marco, a stunning piece of Byzantine architecture.

You'll also see the legendary Bridge of Sighs.

Afterwards, you'll have a chance to see some traditional Venetian craftwork at close quarters with a demonstration by Murano glassblowers; their exquisite creations make excellent souvenirs. Of course, the ultimate Venice activity is to ride through the warren of waterways on a gondola ride, and for most people, this optional excursion is a must. Step aboard, relax and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

We will transfer to Rome in the afternoon.

Day 6: Rome – Vatican – Arezzo

Summary of The Day

Your day in Rome starts with a visit to one of the smallest countries in the world, The Vatican City, which lies at the heart of the Italian capital. Here you'll marvel at St Peter's Basilica. Alternatively, you can choose to add on the optional Sistine Chapel tour to view Michelangelo's famous painted ceiling.

Next, you'll see the famous Trevi Fountain, the lavish Baroque showpiece where people flock to throw coins into the water – an action which is said to ensure that you'll return to the city again one day. 

After lunch, take a step even further back in time as you visit Italy's unrivaled Roman relics. An optional guided tour of the Colosseum is highly recommended.

After the Colosseum, we will get up close to the nearby Arch of Constantine, and then spend some further free time enjoying Rome. 

Next, you can choose to visit the magnificent Basilique Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri near Piazza della Repubblica before transferring to Arezzo in the late evening.

Day 7: Arezzo – Florence – Pisa – Genoa

Begin the day by taking in a wonderful panoramic overview of Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo, which boasts glorious vistas over the red roofs, Arno river and ancient city walls out towards the surrounding countryside

Next, you can see a demonstration of the traditional craft of leather working at close quarters in a local workshop, and you'll also have the opportunity to purchase some of the high-quality leather items for which the city is famous. From here you'll enjoy a guided walk around Florence's many highlights, including the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno, the Piazza del Duomo, and Campanile Tower, passing by the Uffizi Gallery

You'll have free time to see the city further, to shop or to watch the world go by from a streetside cafe, before traveling on to your next destination, Pisa. Here you are free to wander, but be sure to have your camera ready to get a shot of the iconic Leaning Tower.

Then, we will head to Genoa or a near city for the night.

Day 8: Genoa – Monaco – Nice – Cannes – Avignon

Summary of The Day

A breathtaking drive along one of Europe's most famous stretches of Mediterranean coastline awaits as you say arrive derci to Italy and head for Monte Carlo.

A walking sightseeing tour here takes you to the grand Prince's Palace, where you'll have some free time to soak up the refined atmosphere, before continuing on to view the 1920s Courthouse, the cliffside Oceanographic Museum, and the Cathedral, where Grace Kelly is buried.

We then travel a little further to visit the famous Fragonard Perfume Factory. Here you'll be taken on a fascinating guided tour around this working factory.

Next, it's Nice, where you'll stop for lunch to sample some excellent local cuisine and warm-hearted hospitality.

Your journey continues to Cannes. Be sure to take the opportunity to take some photos of the Palais des Festivals, home to the city's annual international film festival, before transferring to the hotel in Avignon or a nearby city.

After breakfast, we will return from Avignon to Paris. You will arrive in Paris in the early evening.

Reminder

    2. The sequence of itineraries, travel time, tour start/end points, attractions covered as mentioned in the tour itinerary; are subject to change without prior notice based on departure dates, local weather, traffic/driving conditions, on ground situations etc.

    3. No charge for infants aged below 2 years (no seat on the bus for infants).

    4. Child fare is applicable for kids aged "02 and above - below 11 years" , who share a room with two adults (no separate bed will be offered for the child. Only one child per room is allowed). 

    5. Maximum occupancy in a room is 2 adults + 1 child (aged below 11 years). There is no possibility to accommodate 3 Adults or more (OR) 2 Adults + 2 Children in one room.

    6. For families with 2 adults + 2 children aged below 11 years, customers will have to avail 2 rooms by upgrading both the children to Adult (OR) upgrade one child to an adult, (thereby paying adult price for the child who is upgraded).

    7. Every passenger is allowed to carry no more than 1 bag (weight not exceeding 30 Kilos), the maximum size per piece of baggage is 158 cm (height + width + depth), extra baggage will be charged 5 euros per piece

    8. Please ensure the safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    9. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. So it would not be possible to carry wheelchairs / pushcarts / prams / strollers on this tour.

    10. It is responsibility of the passenger to carry all important travel documents like Passport , VISA (Please check with the traveling countries embassy / consulate on VISA requirements) , Travel Insurance etc. to participate in this tour.

    11. NOTE: We will have passengers from different parts of the globe participating in this tour and the tour guides who conduct these tours are multilingual. The tour instructions may be given in English / Vietnamese or Chinese.



    Remarks:

    I. Letter for obtaining UK VISA (or) EU Schengen VISA can be issued upon request for customers who have booked our Europe Tours. 

    II. A letter from Globerouter will only act as a supporting document, however, the letter does not guarantee a VISA. 

    III. The issuance of VISA is at the discretion of the embassy/consulate. Globerouter cannot be held responsible for VISA rejections.

    IV. For customers who have availed the VISA letter from Globerouter and wish to cancel the tour due to VISA rejection:

      * 45 Days (or) more - 16 Days prior to tour departure date -- The tour cost will be refunded post deducting service fee of USD30

      * 15 - 07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date -- The entire tour cost will be forfeited & no-refund will be available

    *Letter of VISA rejection issued by the embassy/consulate along with "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form" form has to be emailed to info@globerouter.com no later than 16 days prior to the tour departure date. Without which the cancellation request will not be processed.  

    *Cancellation request will not be excepted if tour departure date is less than 16 days.

    V. For customers who have availed the VISA letter from Globerouter and wish to cancel the tour due to personal reasons post VISA being granted:

      * 45 Days (or) more - 16 Days prior to tour departure date -- 75 % of tour cost paid will be refunded

      * 08-15 Days prior to tour departure date -- 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded

      * 07 Days (or) lesser prior to our departure date -- The entire tour cost will be forfeited & no-refund will be available

    *Copy of VISA issued by the embassy/consulate along with "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form" form has to be emailed to info@globerouter.com. Without which the cancellation request will not be processed.  

    *Cancellation request will not be excepted if tour departure date is less than 08 days.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
