Day 2: Prague – Bratislava

Summary of The Day

Your Prague adventure begins with a spectacular walk along the Royal Route, following the traditional coronation path of the kings and queens of old Bohemia. 

You'll start from the top of Castle Hill in the Hradcany district, famous for its views over the red-roofed old city, and then tour Prague Castle.

Your exploration then heads off around the imposing gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and along Golden Lane, an ancient thoroughfare lined with some wonderful traditional buildings. 

Later you will stroll across the iconic Charles Bridge, which arches gracefully over the Vltava, and on through the winding alleys to the Old Town Square, where you can see the City Hall and one of Prague's most well-known sights, the Astronomical Clock.

After lunch in the square, you'll make the scenic transfer from Prague to the hotel in or near the Slovakian capital, Bratislava.

Day 3: Bratislava – Budapest

Summary of The Day

Today we will arrive in Hungary. Its capital, Budapest, is known as the Pearl of the Danube. 

One of the best ways of seeing this unique location is by taking a river cruise. After a morning of activity, you'll relax over lunch at Buda Palace, and then have a chance to look at the exhibitions in the Budapest History Museum and Hungarian National Gallery, or do a spot of souvenir shopping.

You'll explore both sides of the city on a cultural and historical tour. We will first explore the western half of the city, where we will see Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church. We will then cross to the eastern side, where we will stop at Heroes' Square and Hungary's Parliament Building.

In the evening, you can choose to round off an eventful day with an optional dinner in the heart of Budapest, where you can sample traditional dishes such as goose liver, goulash, duck leg and local wine, accompanied by Hungarian folk dance and music.

Day 4: Budapest – Vienna

Summary of The Day

Today starts with a short journey to another of Europe's grand capitals, Vienna, where you'll get to explore the Austrian city's resplendent palaces, striking churches and prestigious art museums.

Your Vienna adventure begins at one of the city's most popular attractions, Schönbrunn Palace

After lunch, you will take a driving tour past many grand, famous buildings, including the City Hall, the Austrian ParliamentHofburg Palace, and Heroes' Square

In the afternoon, you'll have some shopping time, before adding the Wiener Staatsoper (opera house) to your checklist of key Vienna buildings. 

Later, opt for dinner in the heart of the city or visit St. Stephen's Cathedral, before taking a stroll in Stadtpark, which is known for its range of sculptures, including the famous gilded bronze statue of Johann Strauss II.

Day 5: Vienna – Mondsee – Munich

Summary of The Day

From Vienna it’s on to another Austrian gem, Mondsee.

After lunch group will continue to across the German border to Munich. After arriving Munich, you'll visit Marienplatz and New Town Hall. Marienplatz is a central square in the city centre of Munich since 1158. The New Town Hall is at the northern part of Marienplatz. It hosts the city government including the city council, offices of the mayors and part of the administration since 1874. Or you can enjoy a German beer in one of the beer garden before going to the hotel.

Day 6: Munich – Mount Titlis – Lucerne – Zurich

Summary of The Day

You'll leave the big cities behind on Saturday morning and head for one of the world's most famous mountain ranges – the Swiss Alps. The first destination is Engelberg, the stunning Swiss resort. From here you can opt to board a cable car that takes you to the summit of the impressive Mount Titlis. To reach the top of the permanently snow-covered Mt. Titlis is a combination of gondolas over 3 stages.

You'll ascend the last stage by the world's first revolving gondola the Titlis Rotair, that delivers spectacular views of the valleys, glaciers, lakes, and forests below, and 360˚ vistas of the surrounding mountains. At the summit, the sun terrace is the perfect place to pause and appreciate the breathtaking panoramas. There's a 150-metre ice cavern through the core of a glacier to explore at the top. Other highlights include walking across Europe's highest suspension bridge for more phenomenal views from Mt. Titlis.

You'll come down from the hills to the lakeside for your next stop: Lucerne. Here you will have time to wander through the charming streets and see the famous Lion Monument. This is a great place to get souvenirs like Swiss watches and fine chocolates, before traveling to the overnight stop of Zurich or a city nearby.

NOTES

If weather or traffic permitting, we might take a photo stop in one of the smallest countries in Europe – Lichtenstein.

Day 7: Zurich – Rhein Falls – Titisee – Frankfurt

Summary of The Day

Today begins in Zurich, a city with a reputation as a leading global financial center. There is a chance for a picture stop at the impressive Lake Zurich, before moving on to Rhine Falls, Europe's biggest waterfall.

Next, we'll cross back into Germany and the Black Forest, the ancient fir-covered mountain range which is famous for its creepy folklore and mythical tales. Here you will see the beautiful lake Titisee, where you can stop at one of the many lakeside cafés to enjoy some of the region's best Black Forest cherry gateaux. Cuckoo clocks are made in Titisee, making this the ideal place to pick up a few souvenirs from the local shops, and you'll also get to see a demonstration of how these magical mechanisms work.

Finally, you'll head back to Frankfurt.

You will arrive at Frankfurt Central Station (HBF) around 7:00 pm. Return time is an estimate and varies based on traffic and weather conditions.

    2. The sequence of itineraries, travel time, tour start/end points, attractions covered as mentioned in the tour itinerary; are subject to change without prior notice based on departure dates, local weather, traffic/driving conditions, on ground situations etc.

    3. No charge for infants aged below 2 years (no seat on the bus for infants).

    4. Child fare is applicable for kids aged "02 and above - below 11 years" , who share a room with two adults (no separate bed will be offered for the child. Only one child per room is allowed). 

    5. Maximum occupancy in a room is 2 adults + 1 child (aged below 11 years). There is no possibility to accommodate 3 Adults or more (OR) 2 Adults + 2 Children in one room.

    6. For families with 2 adults + 2 children aged below 11 years, customers will have to avail 2 rooms by upgrading both the children to Adult (OR) upgrade one child to an adult, (thereby paying adult price for the child who is upgraded).

    7. Every passenger is allowed to carry no more than 1 bag (weight not exceeding 30 Kilos), the maximum size per piece of baggage is 158 cm (height + width + depth), extra baggage will be charged 5 euros per piece

    8. Please ensure the safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    9. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. So it would not be possible to carry wheelchairs / pushcarts / prams / strollers on this tour.

    10. It is responsibility of the passenger to carry all important travel documents like Passport , VISA (Please check with the traveling countries embassy / consulate on VISA requirements) , Travel Insurance etc. to participate in this tour.

    11. NOTE: We will have passengers from different parts of the globe participating in this tour and the tour guides who conduct these tours are multilingual. The tour instructions may be given in English / Vietnamese or Chinese.

    12. The coach equipped with Wi-Fi which is free of charge for customers, but please kindly understand that the signal may not keep stable during the tour, especially when passes through different countries.



    Remarks:

    I. Letter for obtaining UK VISA (or) EU Schengen VISA can be issued upon request for customers who have booked our Europe Tours. 

    II. A letter from Globerouter will only act as a supporting document, however, the letter does not guarantee a VISA. 

    III. The issuance of VISA is at the discretion of the embassy/consulate. Globerouter cannot be held responsible for VISA rejections.

    IV. For customers who have availed the VISA letter from Globerouter and wish to cancel the tour due to VISA rejection:

      * 45 Days (or) more - 16 Days prior to tour departure date -- The tour cost will be refunded post deducting service fee of USD30

      * 15 - 07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date -- The entire tour cost will be forfeited & no-refund will be available

    *Letter of VISA rejection issued by the embassy/consulate along with "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form" form has to be emailed to info@globerouter.com no later than 16 days prior to the tour departure date. Without which the cancellation request will not be processed.  

    *Cancellation request will not be excepted if tour departure date is less than 16 days.

    V. For customers who have availed the VISA letter from Globerouter and wish to cancel the tour due to personal reasons post VISA being granted:

      * 45 Days (or) more - 16 Days prior to tour departure date -- 75 % of tour cost paid will be refunded

      * 08-15 Days prior to tour departure date -- 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded

      * 07 Days (or) lesser prior to our departure date -- The entire tour cost will be forfeited & no-refund will be available

    *Copy of VISA issued by the embassy/consulate along with "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form" form has to be emailed to info@globerouter.com. Without which the cancellation request will not be processed.  

    *Cancellation request will not be excepted if tour departure date is less than 08 days.

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
