Itinerary

Day 1: Vancouver – Hope – Kelowna – Revelstoke/Salmon Arm

Summary of The Day

Departing from Vancouver in the morning, follow the beautiful Fraser Valley.

Passing through Hope Town, where the original Rambo First Blood movie was filmed, we will then arrive in Kelowna. Visit Okanagan Lake for the Ogopogo of the mythology of Indians. We will tour the prestigious VQA winery and taste red, white wine and purchase the world-famous Canadian Icewine (stay for about 1 hour).

And then, we will head to Pacific Railway park to visit the "Last Spike" where runs through the junction of the Pacific Railway between Canada's east and west coasts. 

We will stay overnight at Revelstoke or Salmon Arm.

NOTE

Meals are not included in the tour fee.

Please arrange on your own. During the tour, the bus will stop for lunch/dinner, you can ask for tour guide's suggestions.

Day 2: Revelstoke/Salmon Arm - Banff National Park(Bow Falls/Lake Louise/ Moraine Lake) - Kananaskis/Banff

Summary of The Day

Today, we will continue the journey to Banff National Park.

First stop will be Bow Falls, from where you can have a great view of the Banff Spring hotel.

Then, visit Moraine Lake (subject to operation and road conditions), one of the most popular photo spot in Banff.

Next, we go to the renowned Rockies Jewel, Lake Louise, where you can take Gondola ride (optional) to enjoy the panoramic view of the Lake.

After that, arrive at Banff Town for some free time.

Today, we will head to Columbia Icefield, Jasper National Park.

En route, we will make a quick stop at Bow Lake. Then, drive along the Icefield Parkway, one of the most beautiful highway in North America according to National Geographic.

The highlight of the day is Columbia Icefield, the largest icefield in the Rocky Mountains. You can choose to take the Ice Explorer (snowcoach, optional) to the Athabasca Glacier, where you can walk on and feel the glacier. Next, take a walk along the glass-floored Skywalk (optional).

Day 4: Valemount - Jasper Village - Maligne Lake – Valemount / Blue River

Summary of The Day

Today, we continue the journey to Jasper.

Firstly, we will have a photo stop of Mount Robson, the most prominent mountain in North America's Rocky Mountain range; it is also the highest point in the Canadian Rockies;

Then, arrive in Jasper National Park. Visit the Pyramid Lake, a kidney-shaped lake lies at the foot of Pyramid Mountain.

Next, we go to the Maligne Lake. You can embark a Maligne Lake Cruise (optional, approx. 100 mins) to the renowned Spirit Island.

Then we will visit Maligne Canyon before head to the Jasper Town for some free time.

Overnight in Valemount or Blue River.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers. No smoking in hotels.

    5. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring American passport and Green Card OR valid American and Canadian visas.

    6. In case of guests giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. are not refundable.

    7. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:   

      - U.S. permanent residents (with the green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

       How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

    8. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    9. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    10. No-show of third and fourth discounted passengers incurs some penalty fee, and the first and the second passengers should pay the fee to the guide.

    11. Each person is allowed to carry 1 big and 1 small suitcase during the tour, extra C$35 per luggage will be charged if you want to add.

    12. Children under 18 must be accompanied with an adult.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail
