Day 1: Calgary – Banff Town

Summary of The Day

Meet at the Domestic Claim Belt #8 (Information Centre) in Calgary Airport at approx. 2:15pm or at the entrance of Chinese Cultural Center in Downtown Calgary (facing 1st street) at approx. 2:45pm. Depart for the Town of Banff.

Meet tour coordinator at hotel lobby around 4:30pm.

Visit Bow Falls and capture the amazing sights of Fairmont Banff Springs at Surprise Corner.

Explore the Town of Banff at your own pace.

Upon arrival at Calgary Airport, guests need to assemble at the Baggage Claim #8 of domestitc flights (information center) at 2:15 pm.

Sunshine Village, Ski Norquay and Lake Louise Mountain Resort are the three nearby ski resorts located within the national park. You could join evening free activities: Stroll the Bow River, so that travel slow in the flow of daily life; or go to Banff on the hot spring (per capita about 10 $) bubble a bath, with a song of time to calm the heart of nature in the green Mountains and waters.

Day 2: Banff National Park - Jasper National Park - Jasper Town

Summary of The Day

Today we will head to the famous Moraine Lake first (subject to operation)

Then we stroll along the “Jewel of the Rockies” to see the Lake Louise for a panoramic view of magnificent snow-capped mountains. We could celebrate our mountain adventures with a renowned lunch at the Chateau Lake Louise.

Then we could get ready for an exciting ride across the Athabasca Glacier on a “Ice Explorer” on Columbia Icefield, a specially designed glacier vehicle. At last, we will step up onto the Glacier Skywalk, where glass is all that separates you from birds soaring below. 

We will stay at the alpine town of Jasper at night.

Summary of The Day

Enjoy the peaceful moment at the Pyramid Lake and Pyramid Mountain.

Then we visit Maligne Canyon, formed 365 million years ago with lots of waterfalls, fossils, underground stream outlets and potholes.

Passing by Medicine Lake, visit the Maligne Lake with optional cruise ride that takes you to the Spirit Island. 

Tonight, we will stay overnight in Jasper. .

Maligne Canyon - It is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

Mount Robson - It is the most prominent mountain in North America's Rocky Mountain range.It is also the highest point in the Canadian Rockies.

Day 4: Town of Jasper - Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops

Summary of The Day

Today we will first meet at hotel lobby in the morning, and take the shuttle bus to the train station and travel on board to the Rocky Mountaineer.

Be prepared for Canada’s Most Remote and Stunning Vistas! As you journey to the west and south, you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Pass by the Albreda Glacier and magnificent Pyramid Falls, and hopefully see wildlife on the way. The highlight of this route is majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

At last we will spend overnight in Kamloops.

Day 5: Kamloops - Rocky Mountaineer - Vancouver

Summary of The Day

We will meet at hotel lobby in the morning and continue westwards on Rocky Mountaineer.

We can capture the amazing landscapes during the rail journey including steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate at Fraser Canyon.

Finally, the rail journey ends upon arrival in Vancouver early evening. we will gather at the train station and transfer to hotel.

* We will not get off from the train for today's itinerary and there will be no guide explaining on the train.

* Explanation for accommodation and itinerary on the train will be offered by the train company.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. According to BC Government's law, the infants under 2 years old must be served a seat and you should bring safety seat by yourselves.

    7. For the sake of fairness, the tour guide will arrange the seats every day.

    8. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 2 suitcase (maximum 30 kg in total). Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $35 per baggage.

    9. Guests are not allowed to smoke in hotels, otherwise they will be fined at least $350.

    10. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring American passport or Green Card, or bring valid American and Canadian visas.

    11. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

      How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.
