Itinerary

Day 1: Calgary - Town of Banff

Summary of The Day

Meet at the Domestic Claim Belt #8 (Information Centre) in Calgary Airport at approx. 2:15pm or at the entrance of Chinese Cultural Center in Downtown Calgary (facing 1st street) at approx. 2:45pm.

Depart for the Rocky Mountains. Meet tour coordinator at hotel lobby around 4:30pm.

Explore the alpine Town of Banff.

Upon arrival at Calgary Airport, guests need to assemble at the Baggage Claim #8 of domestitc flights (information center) at 2:15 pm.

Day 2: Banff Town – Banff National Park – Japser National Park – Glacier View Inn

Summary of The Day

Head to Bow Falls. Then, ride the Gondola to the summit of the Sulphur Mountain and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Stop and take photos at Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka.

Passing by Castle Mountain, stroll along the “Jewel of the Rockies”, the Lake Louise.

Head to Moraine Lake (subject to operation condition) for a fantastic view of the Ten Peaks.

Passing by Bow Lake, admire the wildlife and nature wonders through the Icefields Parkway.

At sunset, get a ride on a VIP “Ice Explorer” (adm) across the surface of Athabasca Glacier.

Day 3: Icefield - Optional Activities - Jasper Town - Maligne Canyon - Valemount

Summary of The Day

After an Icefield breakfast, we start our morning adventure at Glacier Skywalk, where glass is all that separates you from birds soaring below.

After visiting the Athabasca Falls, you can choose to capture the most magnificent view of the Rockies by River Rafting (optional) or enjoy leisure time at the alpine town of Jasper.

Then we visit Maligne Canyon, formed 365 million years ago with lots of waterfalls, fossils, underground stream outlets and potholes. Capture a precious moment with the highest point in the Canadian Rockies- Mt. Robson.

Tonight, we will stay overnight at Valemount.

It is located in the province of Alberta, north of Banff National Park and west of Edmonton. The park includes the glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, hot springs, lakes, waterfalls, and mountains.

Maligne Canyon - It is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

Mount Robson - It is the most prominent mountain in North America's Rocky Mountain range.It is also the highest point in the Canadian Rockies.

Summary of The Day

Follow along the Thompson River to Kamloops, a famous historical and cultural city. En route, have a brief stop at Wells Gray Park Information Centre

Then we come to visit the only GMP certified ginseng factory to reveal the healing power of ginseng.

 Pass through Hope before returning to Vancouver by dusk.

Reminder

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. The tour operator reserves the right to adjust tour itineraries. Attractions will remain consistent.

    5. According to BC Government's law, the infants under 2 years old must be served a seat and you should bring safety seat by yourselves

    6. To be fair, the tour guide will arrange the bus seats for you and you should have your arranged seat.

    7. Guests who depart from US need to bring American passport and Green Card OR valid American and Canadian visas.

    8. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    9. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $ 35 per baggage.

    10. Service charge of $40 per room per night will be added if you opt to stay at a specific hotel

    11. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    12. Tour fees and hotel upgrade surcharge are subject to change.

    13. All hotel rooms are non-smoking. Any violation will be penalized $350 and up (non-refundable cleaning fee)

    14. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements has been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:    

       - US permanent residents (with the green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary

    - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departure from Canada by air.

       How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD $ 7. ETA can be valid for 5 years.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 15 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
32 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 90% of tour cost paid will be refunded
24-31 Days prior to tour departure date 70% of tour cost paid will be refunded
16-23 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

**If the upgraded hotel has been confirmed, the fee for upgrading the hotel will not be refundable.

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 32 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 14 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change the name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 03 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".

7) The local operator reserves the right to cancel the tours without liability 14 days prior to departure, and reschedule the tours or refund the payment if the number of participants is inadequate to form a group.
