In spring, the lake changed from emerald green to golden orange-red.This is due to the fact that Microorganisms such as algae and pigmented bacteria live in mineral-rich water. In midsummer, the content of chlorophyll is relatively low, so the lake water shows brilliant orange, red or yellow. But in the cold winter, due to the lack of light, these microorganisms will produce more chlorophyll to inhibit the color of carotenoids, so that we can see that the water is dark green.
