Itinerary

Day 1: Home - Cusco

Summary of The Day

Arrival in Cusco, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel. The guide will be in yellow top and gray pants.

In the afternoon our tour starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy its panoramic view of the city.

Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market to soak in its local flavors and to learn about more of the products grown in the area which supply the whole city.

After this, the Korikancha temple will welcome us in all his magnificence.

Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church.

We will walk from San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, to the Hatun Rumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace.

We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces.

Day 2: Cusco

Summary of The Day

In the morning we will visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly.

Our adventure continues at the Inca Shrine Qenqo, to see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave.

Finally we will arrive to the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay.

Day 3: Sacred Valley

Summary of The Day

This day we will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will leave for the town of Chinchero, where we will visit its Inca archaeological complex and its beautiful colonial church.

We will continue to Moray, beautiful and curious Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater.

Lunch at one of the restaurants in the area.

Finally, we end our tour visiting the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo important for the Incas as a military, religious and agricultural center.

We will visit the Temple of the ten windows, the bathrooms of the ñusta, the Temple of the Sun among other places of interest.

The postcards from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 4: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Summary of The Day

A train trip away to see one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, then we will board the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon.

The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas.

After a guided visit, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area.

At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco and will be transferred to the hotel.

    11. In all Machu Picchu Train services passenger may bring onboard a carry-on baggage. The checked allowance is:

    -Weight: 5kg/11lb.

    -Dimension: 158cm/62in

    12. Comfortable and light clothes are convenient when visiting coastal areas of Peru, while warmer clothes are required for stays in Andean mountain areas. 

    13. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting religious or official buildings. 

    14. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

    15. All rates are per person and apply only to foreign passengers.

    16. Prices may change without warning and can only be guaranteed once the reservation has been made.

    17. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers. No smoking in hotels.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
