Itinerary

Day 1: London - Stonehenge - Exeter

Summary of The Day

You travel through the ancient kingdom of Wessex to Stonehenge. These stunning stone circles give you a glimpse into the spirituality of the past, and offer an experience you’re sure to remember.

After admiring the spiritual majesty of this Neolithic site, you continue to the incredible geological formations of the Jurassic Coast, where the cliffs are full of fossils from the age of dinosaurs.

We travel along the coast to the Durdle Door, a beautiful natural limestone arch that juts into the ocean.

Take your time exploring the coast before heading to the historic city of Exeter.

You stay in Exeter for the next two nights.

Notes

1. Pack your waterproof clothing and walking shoes.

2. Passengers are restricted to 14kg (31lbs) of luggage per person on our tours.

This should be one piece of luggage similar to an airline carry-on bag (approximately 55cm x 45cm x 25cm / 22in x 17in x 10in) plus a small bag for onboard personal items.

Day 2: Dartmoor - Exeter

Summary of The Day

Explore the remote windswept magnificence of Dartmoor, where you can see strings of native ponies grazing close to the striking rock formations. Dartmoor is also home to an immense diversity of flora and fauna, so enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the moor’s isolated beauty.

You cross the ancient Clapper Bridge at Postbridge before heading to Tavistock, the historic market town and birthplace of Sir Francis Drake.

Arriving back in Exeter in the early afternoon gives you a chance to explore the city’s ancient riches at a leisurely pace. The city walls, the Norman cathedral, the Royal Albert Memorial, and the Quayside all await you.

Day 3: Glastonbury - Bath - London

Summary of The Day

This morning you head for Glastonbury, home to the world-famous Glastonbury Music Festival.

You make your way to Bath in time for lunch and a relaxed afternoon. Recharge in one of the many restaurants, tea shops, or pubs before embarking on your exploration of this fascinating city's heritage.

You return to London in the evening.

    4. Please note that City Pass and any attraction admission tickets purchased by yourselves are not allowed in the tour.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted on this tour.

    7. Child rate applies to children aged 5-15, based on 1 child sharing a room with parent(s) or 2 children in a twin room.

    8. Passengers are restricted to one medium sized suitcase/bag no more than 15kg (Height 70cm x Width30cm x Depth 45cm) and one small carry-on bag per person. Luggage is carried free of charge but at the passenger’s own risk. We recommend surplus luggage be stored at the railway station or alternatively check with your accommodation provider if they offer luggage storage facilities.

    9. Where a room for 2 passengers has been requested by the Operator but not confrmed as a double or twin room, the Company will default the request to a double room.

    10. We suggest you wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes. In case of rainy days in England, please bring waterproof clothes and enough socks.

    11. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers. No smoking in hotels.

    12. We advise you take out travel insurance.

    13. Accommodation is dispersed around various towns and villages, rarely more than a 10-15 minute walk from the centre, although on occasions this can be 20-30 minutes. Taxis are available if necessary. If you have access needs or specific requirements please let us know when booking. Late bookings and/or peak season may limit the choice and location of available accommodation.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

Possible only 23 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

23 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 90% of tour cost paid will be refunded

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
