Day 1: Arrival in Athens

Arrival in Athens. Our transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. 

Overnight in Athens.

On arrival you'll be met after passing through customs, for international arrivals, and collecting your luggage. Our representative will be holding a sign with your name displayed. 

The driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on. If you cannot find your driver, please call the 'Greek Tours Emergency Contact' number, which could be found on the E-voucher.

Day 2: Athens city tour

Summary of The Day

Athens city tour starts from the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896.

Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).

On the Acropolis visit, the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon.

Day 3: Athens - Argolis - Mycenae - Nafplion

Summary of The Day

Today, we depart early in the morning and cross the Corinth Canal. Next stop, you will visit at the famous Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the home of Mythical Agamemnon, the Cyclopean walls, the Lions gate and the royal tombs.

Depart for Nafplion, the first capital of Greece in Argolis, the picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress.

Day 5: Delphi - Kalambaka

Summary of The Day

After breakfast we will visit Meteora. Meteora has unique rock formations, rising high, stand ageless Christian Monasteries among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air. It is truly fascinating to visit the interior part of them, but also enjoy the amazing views.

Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae with a short stop to see across the road Leonida's Monument.

Meteora monastery is situated on top of these towering rocky hilltops. About 1,000 years ago, there were hidden monks here. They climbed the towering peaks by wooden ladders and ropes, living in natural caves, praying, praising and repenting. So far in the vicinity of the village of Kastraki, we can also find the ancient and broken caverns of the 11th century concealed monks that remain on the steep cliffs. The legendary hero 007 James Bond in the movie has also been here.

Summary of The Day

The tour will end today, we will arrange the transfer to the airport according to your flight.

    2. The sequence of itineraries, travel time, tour start/end points, attractions covered as mentioned in the tour itinerary; are subject to change without prior notice based on departure dates, local weather, traffic/driving conditions, on ground situations etc.
    3. If you are booking a triple room, please note that in some hotels, the third bed may be a “fold-away” bed. Availability of triple rooms is limited. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability.
    4. The minimum traveller age for escorted group tours is 8 years.Child fare is applicable for kids aged "8 and above - below 10 years" , who share a room with two adults (A fold-up will be offered for the child. Only one child per room is allowed). 
    5. In addition to any personal items such as a handbag or laptop computer, you are entitled to have one main piece of luggage and a cabin bag or day pack. Please note that some domestic airlines in Turkey have a luggage limit of 15kg. If your tour program includes a domestic flight and your luggage exceeds 15kg you will be responsible for any excess baggage fees.
    6. We highly suggest all customer to book your flights tickets only after receiving your E-voucher. Globerouter will not be responsible for any flight cancellation/change charges incase of any changes before final confirmation. 

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 31 days or lesser.

45 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 70% of the tour cost paid will be refunded
30-44 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of the tour cost paid will be refunded
15-29 Days prior to tour departure date 35% of the tour cost paid will be refunded
14 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 07 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change the name of passengers

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal/natural/manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities, etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel /natural/manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund/compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date/time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation/modification requests made through local tour provider/tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
