Day 1: Vancouver - Valemount

Summary of The Day

● Depart Vancouver from Canada Place at 7:15 am

● Stop at Othello Tunnels, famous for its austere film history

● Enjoy incredible sights travelling through the Fraser Valley

● Travel the scenic Coquihalla Highway

● Lunch stop in Merritt or Kamloops (or other route passing Nicola lake)

● Visit the beautiful Spahats Falls

● Check-in to your hotel in Valemount

● Free time for dinner

● Hockey in the Rockies or go for a nature walk by the river

This itinerary is sometimes in reverse order on Friday departures and will also be reverse order on Saturday departures (Golden – Banff – Valemount) but the hotels, sightseeing highlights and inclusions are the same. Day 2: Valemount - Banff

Summary of The Day

● Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel

● Visit Mt. Robson - Visit the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies

● Visit the town of Jasper

● Stop at the glacial turquoise Athabasca Falls

● Head along the Icefields Parkway

● You will stop at the Columbia Icefields with an option to take the Ice Explorer onto the glacier (additional cost) or to a hike on Wilcox trai

● Head to Bow Lake and partake in the Polar Bear Swim (seasonal)

● Check into your hotel in Banff

● Optional Sunset Gondola Hike (approximately a 2 hour hike up and you can take the Gondola down). Enjoy amazing views of the Rockies from the top of Sulphur Mountain Gondola

● Banff city driving tour including Bow Falls, Banff Avenue

● Arrive at Lake Louise at approximately 11:00am. Option to spend 4 hours here with plenty of time to hike and have lunch.

● If you don’t want to spend 4 hours at Lake Louise you have the option to go to Lake Louise Mountain Resort from 1:00 - 3:00pm and take the sightseeing chairlift with a buffet lunch (additional cost)

● Visit Moraine Lake

● Check into your hotel in Golden in the evening

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), the tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.

    7. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable.

    8. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. is not refundable.

    9. It is advised to contact the local operator for confirmation one day before departure.

    10. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    11. Luggage Policy: one (1) suitcase and one (1) small backpack per person

    12. What to bring:

    • Swimsuit for heated pools and hot tubs
    •  2 pieces of ID for the night out (we recommend original passport & credit card / driver’s license)
    • Good / comfortable walking shoes or boots

    13. Child rate only applies to children aged 6-18 years old. The minimum age for this tour is 6 years old. If you travel with a child under 6 years old, please reach out to us.

    14. Guests 15 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult or a chaperone.

    15. Please arrive at the departure point no later than 15 minutes before scheduled departure. The tour bus will not be waiting past departure time and if you miss the bus, we will not be able to provide a refund. For all tours, we do not offer hotel pickups or pickups outside of the designated departure point.

    16. Departure times may vary by date, please see your confirmation email for exact departure times.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 62 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 61 days or lesser.

**If you upgrade the hotel into Fairmont hotel, no cancellation and modification is allowed.

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 62 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 61 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 7 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".

7) The requires minimum bookings to run and may be cancelled 30 days in advance if the minimum number is not met. Once the order is placed, this policy shall be applied.
