Day 1: ARRIVAL LIBERIA – RINCON DE LA VIEJA (35km – 1 hr)

Summary of The Day

Arrival at Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia.

Transfer you to hotel in the region of Rincon de la Vieja.

Overnight in Rincon de la Vieja .

Rincon de la Vieja: Enjoy the volcanic views this idyllic national park offers and let the steaming mud pots and boiling water amaze you.

Day 2: RINCON DE LA VIEJA – BIJAGUA (100km – 2 hrs)

Summary of The Day

After a luscious breakfast, visit the Rincon de la Vieja National Park.

Accompanied by your bilingual naturalist guide, hike the 3.5 kilometre Las Pailas loop trail through the dry tropical forest to discover spectacular nature.

After your park visit, walk back to the hotel to collect your bags.

In the early afternoon, transfer from Rincon de la Vieja to Bijagua,  a small town located between two volcanoes, Miravalles and Tenorio.

Overnight in Bijagua.

Day 3: BIJAGUA

Summary of The Day

Begin your day with a tasty breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy a horseback ride and hike to Rio Celeste, translated as ‘Light Blue River’. 

Horseback riding lasts one and a half hour each way, followed by a three-hour hike to arrive at Rio Celeste.

Later, return to the hotel to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 6: MONTEVERDE – MANUEL ANTONIO (190km – 4 hrs)

Summary of The Day

This morning after breakfast, descend towards the Quepos area, visiting one of the country’s most scenic and beautiful national parks - Manuel Antonio National Park.

Once you are checked into your hotel, take the rest of the day at leisure or participate in an optional excursion - the Catamaran Relaxing or the Ocean Kayaking Tours

Return to the pier, head back to base camp to enjoy a delicious homemade meal

Overnight in Manuel Antonio.

Ocean Kayaking Tour -  The thrilling Ocean Kayaking Tour ventures out on a kayak from Quepos Pier for a 2.5-hour journey. The tour allows you to discover stunning examples of nature, above and below the ocean’s surface, from pelicans to flying fish.

Day 7: MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to transfer to the Manuel Antonio National Park.

Throughout your hike, your guide will stop and narrate the park’s natural history, which includes thorough descriptions of the plants and animals that can be observed along the way. 

Halfway through the hike, enjoy a leisurely stop at the world-famous ‘Third Beach’. Take a rest on the soft sand or play in the waves. The stop will last around 20 minutes.

Once the tour is over, transportation is provided back to your hotel and you can spend the day at leisure or join an optional tour (Catamaran Relaxing Tour or Ocean Kayaking Tour).

Overnight in Manuel Antonio.

Manuel Antonio: Though it is Costa Rica’s smallest national park, the picturesque Manuel Antonio is full of wild animals, lush vegetation and beautiful beaches.

    5. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable.

    6. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. are not refundable.

    7. You are advised to confirm with local tour operators one day ahead of the tour.

    8. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    9. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    10. Children at 18 or under 18 years old must be accompanied by a partner at 19 or 19+ years old.

    11. The attractions may be subject to change on November 28, December 25, January 1 and other special days.

    12. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    14. We highly suggest all customer to book your flights tickets only after you receive your tour E-Voucher. 

    15. Globerouter will not be responsible for any flight cancellation/change charges in case of any changes before final confirmation. 

    16. Pick-up hours are from Monday to Sunday, 07:00 to 22:00 hrs. Pick-up outside of these times are subject to a surcharge.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.
