Day 2: SAN JOSE – ARENAL (130km – 4 hrs)

Day 3: ARENAL VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK

Summary of The Day

After a tasty breakfast, take a guided walking tour in Arenal Volcano National Park.

Afterwards, return to the hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure or participate in one of the optional activities available such as the exciting Arenal Nature Night Hike.

Day 4: ARENAL – GUAPILES – TORTUGUERO (210km – 5 hrs by road / 2 hrs by boat)

Summary of The Day

Our day begins early with a morning departure, travelling by road to the town of Guapiles.

Indulge in a delectable breakfast en route and continue through the jungle by boat, cruising the breathtaking rivers and canals of Tortuguero National Park.

Arrive, check in, and enjoy a delicious lunch at your eco-lodge.

Board the boat again for a visit to the stunning Tortuguero village. Stroll its beautifully arranged streets.

Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel, surrounded by the beautiful tropical forest and wildlife.

Day 5: TORTUGERO NATIONAL PARK

Summary of The Day

Today you will have some free time to relax by the pool .

You can also experience the Tortuguero National Park on a three-hour trip.

During the July to September season, you can join an optional Late Night Turtle Nesting Tour purchasable directly at the lodge or enjoy an exciting Tortuguero Canopy Tour.

Tortuguero: This park is home to the nesting grounds of green sea turtles, offering also spectacular beaches and opportunities to spot wild animals and birds.

Optional Activities

Late Night Turtle Nesting Tour - During the turtle hatching season, we will look for the baby turtles trying to find their way down to the ocean. Nesting is from July to September, hatching from September to December. This tour is purchasable directly at the lodge.

Tortuguero Canopy Tour - It is a unique experience in Tortuguero, offering visitors 11 platforms, 4 suspension bridges, 7 cables, 1 scaling wall and the fantastic Tarzan swing. This is an ideal tour for adventure seekers!

Day 6: TORTUGERO – GUAPILES – PUERTO VIEJO DE TALAMANCA (220km – 2 hrs by road / 2 hrs by boat)

Wake up early and depart by boat back to Guapiles.

Here, catch your ground transportation to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch

Then, take a shared transfer to the charming Puerto Viejo area and have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the fabulous Caribbean atmosphere and the captivating local Afro-Caribbean culture of the region.

Puerto Viejo de Talamanca: A Caribbean seaside town famous for its surfing scene, beautiful scenery, and relaxed atmosphere.

Day 7: CAHUITA NATIONAL PARK

Summary of The Day

Luxuriate in a tasty breakfast and prepare yourself for an active day of snorkelling and hiking through the nearby Cahuita National Park.

First, venture out on a snorkelling tour. (About two hours in the most important coral reef of Costa Rica.)

Then, begin the second part of the adventure, a memorable hike through Cahuita National Park with a naturalist guide

At the end of the tour, delight in a delicious Caribbean lunch. 

After lunch, return to your hotel with the rest of day at leisure to relax and indulge in the Southern Caribbean coastal experience.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), the tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.

    5. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable.

    6. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. are not refundable.

    7. You are advised to confirm with local tour operators one day ahead of the tour.

    8. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    9. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    10. Children at 18 or under 18 years old must be accompanied by a partner at 19 or 19+ years old.

    11. The attractions may be subject to change on November 28, December 25, January 1 and other special days.

    12. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    13. The child price applies to all children (11 and under).

    14. We highly suggest all customer to book your flights tickets only after you receive your tour E-Voucher. 

    15. Globerouter will not be responsible for any flight cancellation/change charges in case of any changes before final confirmation. 

    16. Pick-up hours are from Monday to Sunday, 07:00 to 22:00 hrs. Pick-up outside of these times are subject to a surcharge.

    17. No refund for unused services. Splitting of package is not allowed.

    18. Local conditions prevalent at the time of travel may result in modifications to tour contents without prior notice.

    19. Please note you will be accompanied by local guides for the activities only. There is no guarantee that you will be part of a group, or part of the same group during the tour.

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".

What do I need to bring?
A
