Day 1: Vancouver - VIA Rail - Rockies

Summary of The Day

Make your own way to the Pacific Central Station in the afternoon and begin your rail trip.

Stay overnight on the train today.

1. No tour guide service on the Train. Please bring your valid ID and boarding pass.

2. Please check in at least 60 mins prior to the schedule

If the train is cancelled or postponed due to accidents and force majeure, including but not limited to, transport company capacity deployment, temporary closure of the airport or station, temporary cancellation of the transportation company, weather, traffic control, etc., we will try our best to help you with the change.

  • If the train is delayed for more than 5 hours, you can choose to wait for the train or cancel the train itinerary.

Day 2: Arrival in Jasper National Park

Summary of The Day

We will arrive at Kamloops, BC for 30 mins break. Enjoy the spectacular view of Mt Robson on your right hand side when the train coming close to Jasper National Park.

We will arrive Jasper station around 11:00 am. Upon your arrival, meet our local staff and get transferred to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

After check in the hotel, you can enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

The professional guide will take you to the bottom of Maligne Canyon, the deepest Canyon in Jasper National Park, where you will explore the iced falls, caves, glaciers and know about the "disappearing" Medicine Lake. The ice-walking tour is about 3.5 km (2.1 miles), mostly downhill.

Day 3: Jasper National Park - Lake Louise

Summary of The Day

Meet at the lobby at 7:00 a.m - 7:30 a.m. and take the express bus to the Lake Louise, driving on the Icefields Parkway, one of the scenic highway in the world.

At noon, you will arrive at the well-known Lake Louise, see beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise by the lake.

After check-in, you can have a tour in the hotel at your own pace, admire every exquisite and elegant design in this hotel.

You can choose to enjoy Fairmont Afternoon Tea at your own expense.


1. No tour guide service on the express bus;

2. The bus leaves early in the morning. It is suggested you prepare your breakfast for the road.

3. After arriving at noon, you can store the luggage at the front desk. The check-in time is after 15:00

4. There's a chance that the bus will delay or be canceled due to weather conditions. It is one of the force majeures and we will help change the itinerary accordingly.

Day 5: Banff National Park One Day Tour

Summary of The Day

In the morning, check out the hotel and meet at around 11:00 and then depart from the hotel for the 1-day Banff National Park guided tour.

We will drive to Johnston Canyon. Guests may enjoy the Ice Walk (Free use of Crampons).

Afterwards, we head to Vermillion Lakes, the best view point of Rundle Mountain.

Visit Surprise Corner, from where you can see the Banff Spring Hotel, and then make a short stop at Bow Fall.

Later, we will go to the hotel for rest.

Summary of The Day

At around 10:15, depart from the hotel and head to Sulphur Mountain. Guests can take the Banff Gondola (optional, at your own expense) to the mountain top and enjoy the 360 degree view of Rocky mountains.

Then, you will have a tour in Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel

After lunch, you will have some free time to explore the Banff Town on your own.

Next, we will take you to Banff Upper Hot Spring *(admission incl.) to enjoy a nice winter bath.

Later, we will head back to Calgary at approx. 6:30 p.m.

    3. In case of booking error, please provide correct and complete information (Name, Gender, Mobile, Adult or Child, etc) at the time of booking. You will be responsible for the mistake because of missing information.

    4. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    5. Hotel check -in time usually starts from 3:00PM

    6. If you need airport transfer service, please provide correct flight information at least 7 days prior to your departure.

    7. During holidays or peak seasons, Hotel price may fluctuate. Please refer to the final confirmed price.

    8. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

    9. Children price only apply to 2 or more Adults(11+) with 1 child (under 11 years old), otherwise you need to pay the difference.

    10. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc. The vehicle will be different due to the number of travelers.

    11. Deposit is required when check in the hotel. Visa/Master Card is accepted.

    12. This is a package and doesn't include tour guide services the whole tour. You will have multiple tour guides/drivers

    13. During the itinerary, if you want to leave the tour, please tell the tour guide and sign the confirmation for leaving. Please advise at least 7 days before departure if there is any specific requirements (such as vegan food, child seat, etc). We will try our best to meet your requirements but can not guarantee.

    14. Please dress appropriately and prepare cold-proof clothing. Be sure to KEEP NICE AND WARM!

    15. Please book the optional tours at the time of booking. You can not buy the tickets upon arrival.

    16. Some activities are not suitable for infants/children. Please refer to the itinerary.

    17. Two full-sized beds/1 double bed per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers. No smoking in hotels.

    18. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. 

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:  

      - U.S. permanent residents (with the green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

      How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

    1.   - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail
