Day 1: Arrive in Chiang Mai

Summary of The Day

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a guide will meet you at the arrival lobby and transfer you to the hotel.

Free pick-up service is available for flights arrive from 09:00am to 22:00pm.

The rest of the day is free at leisure. No meals are arranged today.

Day 2: Chiang Mai

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, proceed to the Maetaeng Elephant Camp, where you can have an up-close experience with the elephant. Ride an elephant with a tropical view and enjoy activities such as painting show from the elephant, bamboo rafting, ox cart rides, get to learn Thailand’s rural way of life, and more. Moreover, this is not just an elephant camp but also a free elephant clinic where all the funding is from the Park which means that you won’t just be enjoying your time with elephants but you are also helping the elephant life that needs help!

Enjoy the buffet lunch at the elephant camp.

Afterward, visit the Kayan tribe. People who live here are known for wearing neck rings for years to lengthen their necks until they get married. Later on, visit Wat Ban Den. It is so-called – Blue Temple, which is named due to the color of the main structure.

Last stop, head to Elephant Poopoo Paper Park. This park creates a paper by the poo from elephants, in order to maintain and keep a good eco-friendly environment. After, DIY a bookmark at the park.

Day 3: Chiang Mai

Summary of The Day

This morning, head out for a tour of Chiang Mai. Drive up the serpentine road to the magnificently situated Wat Doi Suthep. Perched on a forested mountain, this most sacred Chiang Mai Temple provides a superb view over the city, as well as a wealth of images and frescos.

Then visit the summer palace of the royal family of Thailand- Pu Ping Palace. A royal winter palace where the Thai royal comes to enjoy the nice weather that Chiang Mai got to offer during the winter. As it located in the mountain and is in the north region, the weather is incredibly nice compared to Bangkok or in a town. You will be surrounded by beautiful flowers and gardens that will make your day better from the smell. However, it is important to remember no shorts or any reveal clothes at the palace.

Enjoy the Empress/Dongtan buffet for lunch. Afterward, take a ride on Tuk Tuk, the traditional public transportation in Thailand. While on the ride, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city.

Tour the night market in Chiang Mai. Along the road, there are many vendors selling fruits, snacks and art crafts. Return to the hotel afterward.

Day 4: Chiang Mai - (Flight) - Bangkok

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, head to Baan Tawai Village located 25 kilometers from the outskirts of Chiang Mai. There are several family craft workshops.

The whole village is engaged in wood carving, where you can know more about the wood carving process and buy the art crafts.

After lunch, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok.

Upon arrival in Bangkok, proceed to the hotel to check-in.

The rest of the day is on your own arrangement. Free at leisure.

Day 5: Bangkok

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, proceed to The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where Thai people still keep the traditional way to trade in Bangkok. This place is highly rated by many independent travelers who like to explore the local and culture.

For lunch, guests can enjoy all kinds of Thai cuisine and snacks at the market at own expense.

After lunch, return to Bangkok to visit the Grand Palace. The palace represents the spirit of Thailand, including the collections of drawings, sculptures, and structures. Near the palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddha is also a well-known spot for tourists. This temple is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand.

This evening, enjoy the traditional Thai dishes at Savoey Thai restaurant.

Day 6: Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Bangkok

Summary of The Day

This morning, coach to Ayutthaya to visit the summer palace of Thai Kings, Bang Pa-In Royal Palace. The palace combines the styles of Myanmar, Thailand, China, and Gothic architecture.

Later, proceed to Ayothaya Floating Market to experience the fun of a boat ride. Enjoy the traditional Thai dance and taste all kinds of delicious food here.

This afternoon, visit Wat Mahathat, one of the oldest Buddhist temples, where the famous Buddha in a tree is located.

Day 7: Bangkok - (Flight)- Phuket

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, head to the airport to fly to Phuket.

Day 8: Phuket

Summary of The Day

After breakfast, take the clipper to the island, Ko Racha Yai. You can snorkel at the nearby sea. The water is clear to see through. There are many fish and corals thriving under the sea. You can enjoy the sunbathing on the Siam Beach and Patok Beach, where are known for their white sand. Later, proceed to Ko Lan to enjoy buffet lunch. After lunch, it is your free leisure time. You can swim, sunbathe or join some exciting water activities (Optional tours). Before return to the hotel today, shop at the Kingpower Tax-free shop for some souvenirs.

    5. The hotel check-in is available after 3pm

    7. All the guests have to stay with the group at all time. If absent, a person will be charged $60/per day.

    8. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    9. Please ensure the safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    10. Tour is not wheelchair accessible.

    11. In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), the tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.

    12. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable.

    13. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. is not refundable.

    14. It is advised to contact the local operator for confirmation one day before departure.

    15. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    16. It is highly recommended that passengers book the flights after receiving the confirmed documents (voucher). Globerouter will not be responsible for any flight cancellation/change charges incase of any changes before final confirmation. 

    17. Baggage allowance in Asia and China are restricted to 20kg (44lbs.), and one carry on baggage with dimensions not exceeding 22" X 14" X 9" per person. On transpacific flights, economy class baggage allowance of up to 2 suitcases with each dimensions not exceeding 29" X 20" X 10". However, porterage for only one piece of baggage id included.

    18. During the trip, you may be served by professional tour guide at each city, and/or a professional tour escort.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
