Day 1: San Francisco Bay Area - Sacramento - Wendover

Summary of The Day

Depart from San Francisco this morning and head east towards Nevada. We make the first sightseeing stop at the Sacramento State House of California. Drive over the Donner Pass afterwards and enjoy the desert view along the way! 

We spend the night in Wendover Nevada.

(Sacramento passengers please meet our tour guide at the State House Entrance by 11am)

Day 2: Wendover - Great Salt Lake - Casper

Summary of The Day

Drive to Great Salt Lake Marina in the morning. Known as America’s “Dead Sea”, its water is salty enough for people to float in the lake.

Drive to Utah State Capitol next, the most impressive State House in America! It is constructed of Utah granite and decorated with beautifully designed work of art interiorly.

Next, we drive to the Virtue Kingdom of Latter-Day Saints – the Salt Lake Temple Square. Follow Mormon Missionary sisters’ lead and learn history and teachings of the LDS Church.

Drive to Independent Rock State Historic Site in the afternoon, Independence Rock was a key landmark for pioneers as they picked their way across the American frontier. Hundreds of names have been carved into the hard stone over the years.

Day 7: Virginia City – Lake Tahoe – San Francisco

Summary of The Day

Depart from Reno this morning, head west to Virginia City, a national historical landmark district. The famous Comstock Lode was found here in 1859. Thousands of people rushed here, turned the town into a hustling and bustling site.

Overnight, it became a commercial center. The earlier investors got millions of dollars from here. Virginia City is the “birthplace” of “Mark Twain”. While working for the local “Territorial Enterprise” newspaper, Samuel Clemens first used his famous pen name.

Stroll the authentic wooden boardwalk; you will be overwhelmed by the senses and charms of the old west that will endure for many generations to come. You can take a cruise here (Optional)


In the evening, we will head back to San Francisco/Bay Area.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $25 per baggage.

    4. Children under 2 years old will be charged $25 per day for mandatory General Liability Insurance. It is also to guarantee a seat for the child. If the parents prefer to hold the child, it is considered as forfeiting the seat, but the $25 Per day General Liability Insurance will still be charged. (Safety seat for children under 8 yrs is available to rent for $25 per day.)

    5. No-show or cancellation within 15 days of third and fourth discounted passengers incurs $150 (per person) penalty fee, and the first and the second passengers should pay the fee to the guide.

    6. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    7. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    8. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    9. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
