Day 1: Hotel Pick up - Chiang Mai - Lamphun - Lampang - Sukhothai

Summary of The Day

Pick-up at 08:00 from your hotel in Chiang Mai city. Depart for Lamphun to visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, a golden temple complex whose origins have been traced to the Mon Kingdom in the eighth century, before arriving at the picturesque town of Lampang to visit the historic temple of Wat Phra That Lampang Luang.

After lunch, relax with a scenic drive to Sukhothai Historical Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Explore the park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering the ruins of ancient Sukhothai, which was the first capital of the kingdom of the same name. 

Overnight in hotel in Sukhothai. Lunch included.

All clients must make their own arrangements and be at the pick-up point Holiday Inn Chiang Maiin time for briefing, at least 20 min before the departing time of 8. The tour will continue without clients that have not arrived by the departure time and additional costs incurred to arrange for the clients to meet up with the tour group, will need to be borne directly by client on the ground.

Day 2: Sukhothai - Uthai Thani - Ayutthaya

Summary of The Day

Enjoy a spiritual start to the day as you join locals in offering food to Buddhist monks during their morning alms round. Drive south after breakfast and enjoy a break for lunch in Chai Nat. Today’s route from Sukhothai via Uthai Thani to Ayutthaya mirrors the southward expansion of Siam, following the kingdom’s historical development. Upon arrival at Ayutthaya, a former capital of Siam, head to Ayutthaya Historical Park and visit the temple of Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the adjacent Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit to contemplate the golden Buddha.

Continue to the eerily enchanting ruins of Wat Phra Mahathat, with its famous statue of Buddha devoured by tree roots. Such a heavenly heritage ensemble has earned this historical park the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch included

Day 3: Ayutthaya - Kanchanaburi

Summary of The Day

Drive, after breakfast, through pastoral landscapes virtually untouched by the passage of time before arriving at Kanchanaburi, a quiet town at the confluence of the rivers Kwai Noi and Kwai Yai. It is renowned for the beauty of its natural surroundings and abundant wildlife but it also holds an unwanted place in history as the location of the notorious World War II ‘Death Railway Bridge’.

Visit the war cemetery, the final resting place of thousands of soldiers, and the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, to learn about the conditions in which Allied POWs and Thai slave labourers worked to build a military supply railway. After lunch, spend the afternoon at your leisure. Lunch included

Day 4: Kanchanaburi - Bangkok

Summary of The Day

Depart Kanchanaburi after breakfast at the hotel with a scenic drive to Nakhon Pathom to visit the temple with the magnificent 127-metre-high Phra Pathommachedi stupa, the tallest of its kind in the world.

Continue to Damnoen Saduak, which is famed for its vibrant and colourful floating markets. Breathe in the fragrances of the orient as dozens of boats glide along, selling fresh fruit and vegetables as well as tasty local delicacies. The buzz of the noise and the bustle of activity are quintessential Thai experiences.

Continue to Bangkok for drop-off at your hotel in the city, where the tour comes to an end (departure transfer to the airport not included).

    5. The hotel check-in is available after 3pm 

    6. Child rate is applied to the child under 12 years old and sharing the beds with 2 adult.

    7. All the guests have to stay with the group at all time. If absent, a person will be charged $60/per day.

    8. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    9. Please ensure the safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    10. Tour is not wheelchair accessible.

    11. In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), the tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.

    12. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable.

    13. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. is not refundable.

    14. It is advised to contact the local operator for confirmation one day before departure.

    15. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc).

    16. It is highly recommended that passengers book the flights after receiving the confirmed documents (voucher). Globerouter will not be responsible for any flight cancellation/change charges incase of any changes before final confirmation. 

    17. Baggage allowance in Asia and China are restricted to 20kg (44lbs.), and one carry on baggage with dimensions not exceeding 22" X 14" X 9" per person. On transpacific flights, economy class baggage allowance of up to 2 suitcases with each dimensions not exceeding 29" X 20" X 10". However, porterage for only one piece of baggage id included.

    18. During the trip, you may be served by professional tour guide at each city, and/or a professional tour escort.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
48 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 75% of tour cost paid will be refunded
48-30 Days prior to tour departure date 40% of tour cost paid will be refunded
30-18 Days prior to tour departure date 20% of tour cost paid will be refunded
18 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 45 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 20 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 7 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
