Day 1: Home – Washington D.C.

Summary of The Day

The first-day itinerary is for your reference only; the schedule is subject to change upon your arrival.

Pick-up Note

1. Free IAD airport pick-up: 9:00AM-10:00PM. You may need to wait for other passengers in the airport;

2. Guests who arrive at DCA/BWI Airport can choose paid pick-up service or go to the hotel by themselves;

For IAD/DCA passengers, $120 for first two persons with $10 for each additional person.

Day 2: Washington D.C. City Tour

Summary of The Day

Starting from the hotel, we will firstly head to U.S. Capitol (Inside tour). 

Next, we will visit the Lincoln Memorial. This grand monument overlooks the Reflecting Pool, the Washington Monument, and the U.S.Capitol.

We will also stop at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Korean War Veterans Memorial

Later we can take photos with backdrops of the White House due to the visit limitation for the public. Afterward, you surely don't want to miss the opportunity to take our exclusive D.C. Cruise for sightseeing of the town along the Potomac River.

In addition, along the way, you will see the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, etc. You will also be able to visit the Smithsonian Institution freely. 

In the evening, you need to gather in front of Air and Space Museum and then will be taken to have dinner.

After lunch, we will arrive in Toronto in the afternoon, where we will first visit the iconic CN Tower for its fabulous vies of the city and Lake Ontario. We will also seeOntario's Provincial Parliament and the City Hall.

Next, you can take a Lake Ontario cruise to see the city of Toronto and surrounding area from a new angle!

Around the evening, we will have dinner in the historical Chinatown.

Skylon Tower - Skylon Tower located in Niagara Falls Ontario is the tallest total entertainment complex. It is an observation tower that overlooks both the American Falls, New York, and the larger Horseshoe Falls, Ontario, from the Canadian side of the Niagara River. The total height of the tower from the base to the top of flashing beacon is 520 feet The height of tower above Niagara River is 775 feet.


CN Tower - The CN Tower is a 553.3 m-high concrete communications and observation tower in downtown Toronto. It is now the third tallest tower in the world and remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere, a signature icon of Toronto's skyline, and a symbol of Canada.

Day 5: Toronto – Thousand Islands (Summer)– Ottawa – Montreal

Summary of The Day

In the morning, we will take the Thousand Islands Cruise (summer)

Then we will be driving on Highway 401along St. Lawrence River and reach Canada's Capital and political center, Ottawa. Here we will visit the National War Memorial, Parliament buildings, and Peace Tower

After a short stay, we will drive to the Montreal, known as "Paris of North America", a French-speaking and second largest city of Canada. The famous Montreal Tower together with the Olympics stadium has become the symbol of the city.

Afterward, we will wander around and soak up the European charm of the Old Montreal. You will marvel at how you can step back in time at every cobblestone corner. Along the way, we will pass by the grand Notre-Dame Basilica.

Lastly, a plenty of dinner options in old Montreal will bring you a satisfactory end of the day!

Day 6: Montreal – Quebec (Summer) – Boston

Summary of The Day

In the morning, we will go to another beautiful French style city, Quebec. Everything in the town such as the street signs, cafes, buildings, people’s dressing look, and the atmosphere will tell its rich French descent.

Quebec is the only fortified city in North America north of Mexico, with close to 4.6 km of walls and imposing gates to explore.

Visit the Notre-Dame de Quebec Basilica-Cathedral and you will see many pieces of art.

You will also have chance to take pictures with the world’s most photographed hotel Château Frontenac and the Parliament Building as well as enjoy an authentic French cuisine.

Day 7: Boston – New York

Summary of The Day

The first stop today will be the Harvard University at Cambridge, MA. Here, we will be invited to visit its oldest campus district and take pictures with the Statue of Three Lies - Harvard Statue. 

Also, we will have a chance to walk around the campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and take pictures with its main building. 

Later, we will go sightseeing in the Boston city. We will pass by the old Trinity Cathedral, the Hancock Building, the BostonPark, Prudential Center, and Boston Public Library along the way while overlooking the gold dome of the StateHouse. 

We will then get a chance to board the cruise ship and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Boston harbor. 

Furthermore, the old Quincy Market is an opportunity for you to get a taste of the historical ambiance and to pick out souvenirs among the assorted merchants and artisans. You cannot miss the famous New England clam chowder. 

In the afternoon, we will head to New York.

Day 8: New York City Tour

Summary of The Day

Today we will explore New York City, visiting many of its famous landmarks. You will learn more of the city’s unique history, culture, and the core spirit of the New Yorkers. 

In the morning, we will step up to the Empire State Building Observation deck where guests can overlook the beautiful view of the central park and the entire of New York City. 

We will then take a sightseeing cruise tour on the Hudson River to enjoy the city view from a totally different angle. W can also take pictures with the backdrops of Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. 

In addition, we will go to visit USS Intrepid, the national heritage that costs $120 million. 

We will also wander around the world's famous financial and securities trading center — Wall Street, taking pictures with New York Stock Exchange, Charging Bull, and Trinity Church… Of course, we will not miss the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art

In the end of the day, our tour bus will take us to see around the Fifth AvenueRockefeller Center, Ground Zero and the new construction of WTO - Freedom tower... When time allows, we will additionally visit Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square, and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. You are advised to confirm with local tour operators one day ahead of the tour.

    5. Please bring valid documentation on travel date (passport, driving license, visa, etc). 

    6. No-show of third and fourth discounted passengers incurs a penalty fee, and the first and the second passengers should pay the fee to the guide.

    7. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    8. Children at 18 or under 18 years old must be accompanied by a partner at 19 or 19+ years old. 

    9. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    10. Hotel rates during holidays may fluctuate. 

    11. Please bring Canadian passport or Green Card, or bring valid American visa and Canadian visa.

    12. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
25 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 100% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15-24 Days prior to tour departure date 75% of tour cost paid will be refunded
08-14 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded
07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
