Day 1: In-depth Toronto City Tour

Summary of The Day

Departing early in the morning to Downtown Toronto, we will first make photo stops at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, University of Toronto and Toronto's Chinatown

We will then have a chance to climb up the CN Tower, a signature icon of Toronto's skyline and a symbol of Canada. On the observation deck, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Ontario and the city of Toronto.

If weather permits, we will also take the sightseeing Central Island Cruise across to the Toronto Islands. Guests can have a walk on the islands and enjoy the beautiful view of Toronto skyline. 

After lunch, we will visit another Toronto landmark, Casa Loma. Constructed over 100 years ago, Casa Loma is noble, mystical and exquisite. Casa Loma's 5 acres of private gardens with all sorts of flowers flourishing, is now the preferred photography attraction in Toronto.

Central Island Cruise would be replaced by Ripley's Aquarium from Nov to April as it closed in the end of Oct.

    4. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $35 per baggage.

    5. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring U.S. passport, green card or valid U.S. and Canada visa.

    6. Price is subject to fluctuate due to CAD exchange rate.

    7. According to the number of travelers in the tour, the coach may be a deluxe commercial coach or a minibus.

    8. According to the regulations of bus transportation in Ontario, the infants under 2 years old must be served a seat for the tour fee, so the adult pricing applies to all the travelers. In addition, the infants will be also charged for the gratuities.

    9. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:

      - U.S. permanent residents (with a green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March, 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

       How to apply for eTA to Canada?

       - Applying for eTA online, and you need prepare your passport, credit card and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

    10. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    11. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    12. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
