As the name indicated, the Thousand Islands constitute an archipelago of 1,864 islands that straddles the Canada-U.S. border in the Saint Lawrence River as it emerges from the northeast corner of Lake Ontario. We will be driving on Highway 401 along St. Lawrence River and reach Canada’s Capital and political center, Ottawa. Here we will visit the National War Memorial, Parliament

Day 3: Montreal – Quebec (summer schedule) – Boston

Summary of The Day

In the morning, we will go to another beautiful French style city, Quebec. Everything in the town such as the street signs, cafes, buildings, people’s dressing look, and the atmosphere will tell its rich French descent.

Quebec is the only fortified city in North America north of Mexico, with close to 4.6 km of walls and imposing gates to explore.

Visit the Notre-Dame de Quebec Basilica-Cathedral and you will see many pieces of art.

You will also have chance to take pictures with the world’s most photographed hotel Château Frontenac and the Parliament Building as well as enjoy an authentic French cuisine.

Day 4: Boston - New York (200 miles)

Summary of The Day

Today, we will firstly visit Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

Later, we will go sightseeing in the Boston city. We will pass by the old Trinity Cathedral, the Hancock Building, the Boston Park, Prudential Center, and Boston Public Library along the way while overlooking the gold dome of the State House. You can also board the cruise ship and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Boston harbor. 

Furthermore, the old Quincy Market is opportune for strolling through or to get a taste of the historical ambiance as well as to pick out souvenirs among the assorted merchants and artisans. You absolutely cannot miss the famous New England clam chowder.

In the afternoon, we will head to New York. Upon arrival of the Big Apple, you can join our a New York night tour to get firsthand experience of "Sleepless Town" – a 3-hour tour that stops at some must-see landmarks for only $25/adult and $15/child.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries are subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc. 

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. In case of attraction closures (due to holidays or construction, etc.), tour guide may make some necessary changes to the itinerary accordingly.

    5. In case of extreme weather condition, war, strike and other force majeure events, local operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and all costs are not refundable. 

    6. In case of guests voluntarily giving up the tour because of personal reasons, all costs including hotels, transportation etc. is not refundable.

    7. Please confirm with the local tour operator one day earlier before the tour.

    8. Guests who depart from US need to bring American passport and Green Card OR valid American and Canadian visas.

    9. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    10. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    11. Children at 18 or under 18 years old must be accompanied by a partner at 19 or 19+ years old.

    12. The itinerary of Thousand Islands only applies to the summer schedule.

    13. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
25 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 100% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15-24 Days prior to tour departure date 75% of tour cost paid will be refunded
08-14 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded
07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
