Itinerary

Day 1: Vancouver - Seattle - Mt. Rainier National Park - Seattle

Summary of The Day

Departing from Vancouver in the morning, we will reach Seattle in the afternoon.

Later we will visit the famous attractions Mt. Rainier National Park.

Stay overnight in Seattle.

Sightseeing
Mt Rainier National Park

Washington University

Mt. Rainier - Mt. Rainier is the first known as the Indians near the tahoma, meaning the sacred mountain. It is the highest volcano in the United States, more than 2500 meters above the peak of the mountain, and more than 600 meters higher than Japan's Mount Fuji. It is considered as Washington's first landmark, and its stalwart is also printed on the state's license plate. Rainier Snow Mountain has the largest single glacier except Alaska, as well as the largest ice system. 95% of the park is kept in its original state.

Christine Falls - Christine Falls is a waterfall on Van Trump Creek in Pierce County, Washington. The falls are 69 feet (21 m) feet high and are best known for having a bridge spanning the lower drop. The upper drop is 32 feet (9.8 m) high and is almost impossible to film in tandem with the oft-photographed 37-foot (11 m) lower tier. The lower tier is probably one of the most commonly photographed locations in the Mount Rainier area.

Narada Falls - Narada Falls is a waterfall in Mount Rainier National Park, in the U.S. state of Washington. It is said to be the most popular because the Mount Rainier Highway crosses the falls between its two tiers. The waterfall drops 188 feet (57 m) in two tiers of 168 feet (51 m) and 20 feet (6.1 m). The upper tier is a horsetail that falls in several strands down a nearly sheer cliff, into a canyon that is perpendicular to it. The lower tier is a much smaller plunge. During the winter, the upper falls freezes and becomes a sheer 150 feet (46 m) of icicles, which attracts many ice climbers.

Extending roughly from the confluence of the Columbia with the Deschutes River (and the towns of Roosevelt, Washington, and Arlington, Oregon) in the east down to the eastern reaches of the Portland metropolitan area, the water gap furnishes the only navigable route through the Cascades and the only water connection between the Columbia River Plateau and the Pacific Ocean.
