Day 2: UC Berkeley - San Francisco City Tour

Summary of The Day

We visit the campus of UC Berkeley in the morning. Faculty, alumni and staffs of Berkeley have won 72 Nobel Prizes. From the nostalgic campus, Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Straight can both be seen! Afterwards we drive to San Francisco, home to over 50 rolling hills and surrounded by water on 3 sides.

We visit the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Palace of Fine Arts, and Fisherman's Wharf.

Here you can take an optional cruise on the San Francisco Bay (own expense) and explore the Madame Tussaud. You may take an in-depth city tour at your own cost this afternoon.

We will head towards the Grand Canyon West Rim this morning! The epic view is created by erosion and time, and brings you a life time experience and memory! Take a walk on the glass bridge – the Skywalk (optional at your own expenses), or take an optional helicopter ride fly through the Grand Canyon!

We will drive to Hoover Dam next, overseeing Lake Mead!

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries are subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc. 

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. If you cancel the third and fourth discounted passengers within 1-3 business days before the tour departs, $100 (per person) penalty fee will be charged. No-show of third and fourth discounted passengers will incur $200 (per person) penalty fee, and the first and the second passengers should pay the fee to the guide.

    5. Due to peak season, additional hotel accommodation is subject to availability and prices may fluctuate. 

    7. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    8. During the peak travel season, twin room may be changed into a King room or a King room Plus Sofa bed without prior notice. 

    9. Visiting to Antelope Canyon will be Lower Antelope Canyon (walking). It will cost about 75 minutes.

    10. On New Year, National Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and other holidays, the tour fee may increase. Please enquire at the time of booking.

    11. Selfie sticks are prohibited in Disneyland. Guests are required to leave the device in their car or hotel room prior to their arrival, or store them for free at Guest Storage, available at the main entrance of all Parks.

    12. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    13. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    14. At least one adult at the age of 18+ in your tour group. Pets are not allowed in the whole tour.

    15. If you give up San Francisco city tour and choose a free day tour, you will be charged $30 per person and you still need to pay $45 for Mandatory Tour in SF. 

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
31 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 90% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15-30 Days prior to tour departure date 70% of tour cost paid will be refunded
08-14 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded
07 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
