Itinerary

Day 1: Olympic National Park

Summary of The Day

Today, we will head towards Olympic National Park, which contains almost one million acres of land and over 900 hiking trails along the Pacific coastline.

We will see the two main attractions in the park, Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent. (* If we can't drive to the Hurricane due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park.)

When going back to Seattle, you can take the Bainbridge Island ferry to enjoy the breathtaking views of Seattle's coastline. (* If the ferry is canceled or delayed due to any reason, we will drive back to Seattle.)

Hurricane Ridge - Located within Washington's Olympic National Park, this mountainous region is a popular destination for hiking, skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, several picnic areas open up, making this a great spot for a day-trip from nearby Seattle.

Lake Crescent - This deep lake in the heart of Olympic National Park holds water that is a brilliant hue of bright blue. It was formed during the last Ice Age by thousands of years of glacial activity.

Day 2: Snoqualmie Falls – Leavenworth German Town

Summary of The Day

Today, we will see the Snoqualmie Falls, one of Washington State's most popular scenic attractions visited by 1.5 million visitors every year.

Then, we will explore Leavenworth the German village which is 2.5 hours' drive northwest of Seattle, the most beloved town in this area where people celebrates all the time. You can see beautiful maple leaves in fall, and in winter, the town is adorned by white snow and holiday decorations. Lovely atmosphere can be found everywhere all year round. Enjoy shopping of delicate European souvenirs and taste the authentic German food and beer, or try on some traditional German costume clothes.

Snoqualmie Falls - This waterfall is located in Washington, in the greater Seattle area, along the river of the same name. The falls and the town gained international recognition when they were used as filming locations for the hit show "Twin Peaks."

Leavenworth - The town site was across the Wenatchee River from Icicle and was named Leavenworth the same year the rail construction began. Captain Charles Leavenworth, president of the Okanogan Investment Company, purchased the land in the present-day downtown and laid the streets parallel to the new railroad tracks.

German Pigs Trotter - Pig's trotter, another name for pork feet, is a popular dish in traditional German cuisine, and you will get the chance to try some authentically cooked trotter as part of a fine lunch.

Day 3: Mt. Rainier National Park

Summary of The Day

Mt. Rainier is the tallest volcano of the Continental United States, the 5th tallest mountain of the entire US territory. The mountain top is covered by snow all year round. When snow melts, snow water flowsdown in a large volume, which creates beautiful waterfalls and vast lakes meanwhile irrigates the forestland. Mount Rainier is circled by the 93-mile-long Wonderland Trail and is covered by several glaciers and snowfields totaling some 35 square miles. Carbon Glacier is the largest glacier by volume in the contiguous United States, while Emmons Glacier is the largest glacier by area. About 1.8 million people visit Mount Rainier National Park each year. Mount Rainier is a popular peak for mountaineering with some 10,000 attempts per year with approximately 50% making it to the summit.

Along the way, we will arrange parking for 1-2 attractions according to the actual situation: Christine Falls (pass-by), Narada Falls, or Paradise Visitor Center (including glacier overlooking, Martha Falls, Wildflower meadow at Paradise, etc. in case of bad winter weather, we will go to the Longmire Museum instead of Paradise Visitor Center).

Drop-off Info

After tour, you will be dropped off in Seattle Chinatown or SEA Airport. Please schedule your flight after 7:00pm. If it is Olympic National Park on the last day, please schedule your flight after 8:00pm.
