Day 1: Vancouver - VIA Rail Canada train country

Summary of The Day

Today, we will meet at the Vancouver Pacific Center Train Station (1150 Station Street, Vancouver, BC) and board on VIA Rail. to take the amazing VIA train. The Vail train will depart from Vancouver around 8:00pm and head to the Jasper National Park, you can enjoy the views and stay overnight on the train today.

Upgrade

Upgrade option: Economy class do not include any meals but they do sell meals and drinks on the train, you may upgrade to sleeper class, which includes breakfast and Lunch. Please contact us about the quotation if you are interested in upgrading to sleeper class.

Reminder

Own arrangement to Vancouver Pacific Center Train Station (1150 Station Street, Vancouver, BC) and board on VIA Rail (Please check in at least 30 mins prior to the schedule).

Day 2: VIA Rail Canada train country - Japser National Park - Maligne Lake / Maligne Canyon

Summary of The Day

We will arrive at Kamloops, BC around 6:00am for 30mins break. Enjoy the spectacular view of Mt Robson on your right hand side when the train coming close to Jasper National Park. We will arrive Jasper station around 4:00pm, meet our guide and start today's tour and visit Maligne Lake, Maligne Canyon and Jasper Town.

Tonight stay in Jasper Town, the heart of Jasper National Park and the 2nd biggest town in the Canadian Rockies.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. According to BC Government's law, the infants under 2 years old must be served a seat and you should bring safety seat by yourselves.

    7. For the sake of fairness, the tour guide will arrange the seats every day.

    8. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional C$26.5 (tax included) per luggage per day (pay in cash to the tour guide). 9. Guests are not allowed to smoke in hotels, otherwise they will be fined at least $350.

    10. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring American passport or Green Card, or bring valid American and Canadian visas.

    11. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    12. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

      eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:  

      - U.S. permanent residents (with the green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

      - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

      How to apply for eTA to Canada?   

      - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

    12. Child is 2-11yrs old and share bed and room with adults.

    13. The rates of tour fee and additional hotel accommodations may fluctuate due to Global Petroleum Show and Calgary Stampede. The final price is subject to the final confirmation.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
32 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 90% of tour cost paid will be refunded
31 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

**If you upgrade the hotel into Fairmont hotel, no cancellation and modification is allowed.

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
