Day 1: LAX Airport – Hotel

Summary of The Day

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel for some rest.

Note

Standard check-in time is after 3:00pm.

1. Flight info: Please provide your flight info 3 days before departure, otherwise free pickup service cannot be guaranteed available.

2. Free pickup (LAX): 8:30am - 10:30pm, one departure every one hour. Specific pickup time will be arranged based on your provided flight info. In case of lateness due to flight delay or personal reason, we will try to arrange the bus of the latest departure for you. Please wait in patience at the airport. If you don't want to wait, you may head to the hotel by yourself at your own expense. If it is not available, you need to head to the hotel by yourself.

3. Pickup point: Please wait at Baggage Claim for American domestic flights / For international flights wait at the exit (near 7-Eleven)

4. Night flight: Paid pickup service of $80 (maximum of 5 allowed) will be charged during 10:30pm - 12:00am.

5. Pickup guide: wearing yellow uniform and holding yellow flag.

Day 2: Los Angeles – Santa Barbara – 17-Mile Drive – San Francisco (approx. 250 Miles / 4 Hours)

Summary of The Day

In the morning, we will leave Los Angeles for Santa Barbara, the "America's Riviera".

Afterwards, we will head towards the picturesque Monterey Peninsula and 17-Mile Drive.

We will arrive in San Francisco in the evening.

Day 3: UC Berkeley – Madame Tussauds/Dungeon – San Francisco City Tour (approx. 125 Miles / 2 Hours)

Summary of The Day

We will visit the campus of UC Berkeley in the morning. Faculty, alumni and staffs of Berkeley have won 72 Nobel Prizes. From the nostalgic campus, Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate Straight can both be seen!

Afterwards we'll drive to San Francisco, home to over 50 rolling hills and surrounded by water on 3 sides. 

Then we'll visit the Golden Gate Bridge before visiting Fisherman's Wharf. Here you can take an optional cruise on the San Francisco Bay (own expense).

Next , we will visit Madame Tussaud or Dungeon and then we'll visit the only building remaining from 1915 world’s exposition, the Palace of Fine Arts

You may take an in-depth city tour at your own cost this afternoon. San Francisco In-Depth Tour visits - Twin Peaks, City Hall, Cliff house, Saint Mary Cathedral.

Visitors walk through the Dungeon, and are guided through each show by professional actors. The attraction also contains a dark boat ride. The San Francisco Dungeon was opened in June 2014, following the success of its European counterparts which include the London Dungeon and the Amsterdam Dungeon.

Departing from the hotel this morning, we will head towards Yosemite National Park, where we will tour El Capitan, Yosemite waterfall, Yosemite Valley, Half Dome, and Bridal Veil Waterfall… Wonders come one after another!

After lunch, we will travel across Central Valley of California and then return to Los Angeles in the evening.

Along highway fifteen northbound, through San Bernardino forest, most of the Harvey desert in North america. On the way to rest after a short stay, arrived in Las Vegas at noon - World Las Vegas! You can enjoy a rich buffet lunch at their own expense, after staying in Circus Circus Hotel. You may rest in the hotel this afternoon, or go to the casino to try their luck.

After dinner, you can enjoy the charming night at Las Vegas with us (night tour is at your own expense).

We will stay overnight in Las Vegas.

Head to Hoover Dam in the morning, we will stop at Hoover Dam, where you can oversee part of Lake Mead.

We will then make our way to the Grand Canyon West Rim. The epic view is mainly created by erosion and brings you an unforgettable sightseeing experience. We will visit the amazing eagle point, guano point, and so on. If you are interested in taking an advanced tour, it is recommended to take a skywalk or helicopter and boat tour.

    2. The sequence of itineraries are subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc. 

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. For tour guide's information, please call local operator 24 hours prior to tour departure.

    5. The driver may be the tour guide.

    6. If you cancel the third and fourth discounted passengers within 1-3 business days before the tour departs, $100 (per person) penalty fee will be charged. No-show of third and fourth discounted passengers will incur $200 (per person) penalty fee, and the first and the second passengers should pay the fee to the guide.

    7. If you choose the DIY activity in San Francisco rather than the tour we arrange, $30 per person will be charged, and also an extra mandatory fee $50.

    8. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    9. During the peak travel season, twin room may be changed into a King room or a King room Plus Sofa bed without prior notice.

    10. Please note that $30 will be charged if choose to spend a free day in Las Vegas. If you have chosen Las Vegas Free Day, but want to change it over to Grand Canyon, you can negotiate with the tour guide and pay for the difference in cash. Attention: You are recommended to book online in advance in case of no additional seats.

    11. On New Year, National Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and other holidays, the tour fee may increase. Please enquire at the time of booking.

    12. At least one adult at the age of 18+ in your tour group. Pets are not allowed in the whole tour.

    13. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    14. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

How can we book pre or post tour accommodation?
A

Yes, you can book a pre or post tour accommodation. To book a pre or post tour additional hotel you have to first book the tour and mention in additional comments requesting "Add-On Hotels" for dates required. Once we receive the message we will get back to you with availability and pricing. Later which can be paid using "Add-Fee Payment Link" which will be sent to you in an email by Globerouter service team.

How are meals arranged on the tours? Will there be a vegetarian food option?

Meals are not part of the package. The tour guide will be arranging food stops at local restaurants, fast food restaurants or food courts where passengers can purchase their own meals. Food stops will also offer options for vegan/ vegetarian food.

A

We recommended our passengers travel light, carry only essential items. Most coaches permit 1 big bag + 1 carry on item per person (Size specification as per International Airline Guidelines).
