Day 1: Bay Area – Yosemite – Fresno

Summary of The Day

From waterfalls that drop thousands of feet, and endless mountain ridges, Yosemite National Park can be considered one of the most famous scenic spots in the Western United States. We will arrive in Yosemite National Park in the afternoon. Highlights include: Tunnel View, Bridal Veil Falls, El Captain, Merced River, Yosemite Falls, Half Dome.

We will stay overnight stay in Fresno.

Note

In case of snow in Yosemite, the tour is substituted with "Redwood Park, Roaring Camp, Santa Cruz and Outlets" with no objection.

Tunnel View - This is one of Yosemite's most popular outlooks, often the first landmark that visitors come to. INear, Wawona Tunnel, it was renovated in 2008. Bridal Veil Falls - Bridal Veil Falls are one of Yosemite's most famous geological formations, a 617-foot waterfall that flows all year round. When the wind blows strongly enough, the waterfall appears to be falling sideways. El Capitan - El Capitan is the largest granite monolith in the world, rising about 3,000 feet above the ground, featuring notoriously difficult climbing routes that even the most experienced climbers find challenging. Merced River - Running from the Sierra Nevada to Central Valley in California, the Merced River cuts through Yosemite National Park, and offers visitors excellent hiking trails along its banks or whitewater rafting trips through its rapids. Yosemite Falls - This breathtaking system of waterfall is the tallest in North America at roughly 2,425 feet, and one of Yosemite National Parks most popular attractions. It is divided into three sections: the Upper Falls, Middle Cascades, and Lower Falls. Half Dome - The Half Dome is known the world over as a challenging and rewarding hiking and mountain climbing location. It is an iconic image of Yosemite. Visitors hoping to reach the summit should come prepared for an arduous trek.


Alternative itinerary: Motor high to Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, Santa Cruz is located on the northern edge of the Monterey Bay, about 72 miles south of San Francisco. It is known for its moderate climate, the natural beauty of its coastline and redwood forests. The Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf is the longest pier on the West Coast, offers the best in seaside shopping, dining and recreation. You'll find everything from handmade arts & crafts to beach apparel, outdoor fresh fish markets to fine dining. We will continue to visit Bear Mountain area and stop by visiting Roaring Camp, you can stroll around the Redwood Trees and take a one-hour steam train tour (admission excluded) inside the park. Your wonderful forest trip starts by riding this 19th century steam train. It is a journey back to another of the time. Next, visit California's largest designer clothes factory outlet - The Gilroy Premium Outlets, where every day a large number of foreign tourists come visit. Day 2: Fresno – Hearst Castle – Bay Area

Summary of The Day

Visit Hearst Castle in San Simeon, once the home of the media mogul William Randolph Hearst. The construction of the castle began in 1920 and was not yet completed when Hearst passed away in 1951. This castle, with its private zoo and celebrated antiques, occupies an area of 137 acres. In 1958, Hearst's children donated the castle to the state of California, and it became a public treasure.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Children under 2 years old will be charged $25 per day for mandatory General Liability Insurance. It is also to guarantee a seat for the child. If the parents prefer to hold the child, it is considered as forfeiting the seat, but the $25 Per day General Liability Insurance will still be charged.

    4. Remember keep warm due to high altitude in Yosemite National Park.

    5. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $25 per baggage.

    6. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    7. Child pricing only applies to the children at the age of 2-12 years old.

    8. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    9. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    10. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    11. Note: Due to the new Reserve and Booking System for Hearst Castle, since 8/15/2017, an additional handling fee of $8 will be charged on the tour and you can pay in cash to the tour guide.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

2) For requests to change to a different tour

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".

Will there be any parking facility at the departure points?

There will be no parking facilities provided by our local operators at any departure points. We request all our customer to find public parking facility at/near given departure points.

How are meals arranged on the tours? Will there be a vegetarian food option?
A

Meals are not part of the package. The tour guide will be arranging food stops at local restaurants, fast food restaurants or food courts where passengers can purchase their own meals. Food stops will also offer options for vegan/ vegetarian food.

What is the baggage policy?
A

We recommended our passengers travel light, carry only essential items. Most coaches permit 1 big bag + 1 carry on item per person (Size specification as per International Airline Guidelines).
