Black Beach

Black beach of Reynisfjara

The great black beach of Reynisfjara, is guarded by the massive rock stacks Reynisdrangar. Some say those two pillars are night trolls turned to stone by the first rays of the morning sun ages ago. The black beach is walled in by great hexagonal basalt column cliffs, presenting nature's beauty in an out-of-this-world way. Beware though, this location is dangerous, as the unpredictable Atlantic Ocean waves can be life threatening.
