Day 1: Bay Area - Elko

Summary of The Day

Visit the California State Capital in Sacramento. Founded in 1849, Sacramento was at the heart of the gold rush, Pony Express and first continental railroad. In the afternoon head through the famous Donner Pass and enter Nevada – nicknamed the Silver State.

Day 2: Elko – Snake River Canyon - Yellowstone – West Yellowstone

Summary of The Day

Cross the Great Basin Desert, pass through fertile farmland of Idaho and arrive at Snake River Canyon overlook. Enjoy the beautiful canyon in which the Snake River meanders across high plateau and cut through the ancient basalt lava flows.

Then continue to Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the world’s principal wildlife preserves and a photographer’s paradise. Walk the boardwalks surrounded by hot springs and bubbling pots of mud, admire that Grand Prismatic Pool whose rainbow colors make it so iconic, watch in awe Old Faithful Geyser that shoots a column of water high in the air. Overnight is in West Yellowstone.

Day 7: End your tour in Las Vegas / San Francisco (569 mi) / Los Angeles (270.3 mi)

Summary of The Day

In the morning, we will depart Las Vegas towards San Francisco. After crossing the Mojave Desert, we will see the world's longest runway at Edwards Air Force Base, the US aerospace aircraft have landed on the runway on several occasions; looking up, you may perhaps see a very busy sky, for it is here that mankind first broke the speed of sound. 

Next, passing by the Tehachapi mountain range and seeing California's largest wind power generating operation, you will see mountains covered by windmills.

In the afternoon, we will travel through the fertile Central Valley.

Evening arrival to the Bay Area.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries are subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc. 

    3. Children under 2 years old will be charged $25 per day for mandatory General Liability Insurance. It is also to guarantee a seat for the child. If the parents prefer to hold the child, it is considered as forfeiting the seat, but the $25 Per day General Liability Insurance will still be charged.

    4. Due to high frequency of exhibition in San Francisco, additional hotel accommodation is subject to availability and prices may fluctuate. 

    5. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $25 per baggage.

    6. Due to holidays or Las Vegas Exhibitions, hotel rates in Las Vegas may increase. 

    7. No-show of third and fourth discounted passengers incurs $140 (per person) penalty fee, and the first and the second passengers should pay the fee to the guide.

    All passengers partaking in these promotions must follow the the itinerary, and must participate in all optional tours. All optional tour fares and admissions must be purchased from the tour guide. Failure to comply will result in full charge for 3rd passengers original tour fare, charged immediately ans collected by the tour guide.

    8. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    9. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    10. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    11. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
