Lincoln Memorial - Lincoln Memorial is an incredible American national monument built in honor of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. In a city of icons, the Lincoln Memorial is truly a highlight. It's the classicism evoked by the Greek temple design or the way the memorial so perfectly anchors the Mall's west end, or maybe just the stony dignity of Lincoln's gaze and the power of his speeches engraved in the wall. Nonetheless, a visit here while gazing over the 2,000ft(600m) Reflecting Pool is a defining D.C. moment.

Jefferson Memorial - Named after and dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.
