Itinerary

Day 1: Vancouver Island - BC Ferries - Butchart Garden - Victoria

Summary of The Day

In the morning, take B.C. Ferry to Victoria, enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Then, we'll visit the famous Butchart Gardens(Admission incl.)

Passing by Canada's oldest Chinatown, visit the landmark building in the Victoria Harbour,and the landmarks. You can enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea at the Empress Hotel (at your own expense), take an English-style carriage (at your own expense) or take a water TAXI to the Fisherman's Wharf.

Tonight, we will stay in Victoria.

Day 2: Victoria - Whistler - Vancouver

Summary of The Day

In the morning, we will take ferry from Victoria, heading to Whistler via the Sea 2 Sky Highway, passing by Horseshoe Bay

Afterwards we'll arrive at Whistler - the host of the 2010 Winter Olympics. you can take Peak2Peak gondola, relax and go shopping, or go snow shoeing (snows shoes rental incl.)

Later, we'll return to Vancouver.

Peak2Peak will be closed for maintenance during Oct. 1 - 5, Oct.8 - Nov. 21 and Apr. 23 - 30 and will be substituted by Sea2Sky Gondola excursion during these period.

Reminder

    1. Globerouter cooperates with top local tour operators and ensures the best quality of services to all travelers.

    2. The sequence of itineraries is subject to change without prior notice according to departure date, weather, traffic, etc.

    3. Please ensure safety of your luggage always, especially in public areas. The tour operator or the tour guide cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings.

    4. National Park Pass / City Pass / Entry Tickets / Annual or Season Passes / Senior Pass (or) any admission tickets to attractions purchased on your own are not allowed on this tour. All mandatory / optional tour services, have to be purchased as instructed in the exclusions section.

    5. Tour is not wheel chair accessible.

    6. According to BC Government's law, the infants under 2 years old must be served a seat and you should bring safety seat by yourselves.

    7. For the sake of fairness, the tour guide will arrange the seats every day.

    8. Luggage allowance: each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage will be charged additional $35 per baggage.

    9. Guests are not allowed to smoke in hotels, otherwise they will be fined at least $350.

    10. Guests who depart from U.S. need to bring American passport or Green Card, or bring valid American and Canadian visas.

    11. Two full-sized beds per room. No additional bed for children, 3rd or 4th travelers.

    12. Whistler Gondola & Peak2Peak will be closed for maintenance during Oct. 20 - Nov. 21 and will be substituted by Sea2Sky Gondola excursion during Oct. 20 - Nov. 21. Gondola operation is seasonal and subject to change without prior notice.

    13. Snowshoeing activity is weather dependent. Please notify us of your shoe size at the time of booking. Guests are advised to wear waterproof shoes and need to pay damage deposit $50 which is refundable after returning shoes without any damage.

    14. Since March 15, 2016, New Canada entry requirements have been changed. Please note at the time of booking.

     eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) has been launched since March 15, 2016:  

     - U.S. permanent residents (with the green card) who enter Canada by flight need to hold eTA. If you enter Canada by land or sea, eTA is unnecessary.

     - Students and temporary workers (from the countries where eTA is necessary): If you got a Student Visa or Work Visa before 15th March 2016, getting eTA is necessary before entering and departing from Canada by air.

     How to apply for eTA to Canada?  

     - Applying for eTA online, and you need to prepare your passport, credit card, and e-mail address. The application fee is CAD$7. eTA can be valid for 5 years.

Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy

1. Cancel or change an order

The following terms apply to the refund policy when canceling or changing an order

1) Reducing the number of travelers

2) Canceling the entire order

3) Change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Modification service fee will be applicable over & above the cancellation charges.

4) Rescheduling tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

Cancellation Made Within Refund Policy
32 Days (or) more prior to tour departure date 90% of tour cost paid will be refunded
24-31 Days prior to tour departure date 70% of tour cost paid will be refunded
16-23 Days prior to tour departure date 50% of tour cost paid will be refunded
15 Days (or) lesser prior to tour departure date The entire tour cost will be forfeited & No-Refund

**If the upgraded hotel has been confirmed, the fee for upgrading the hotel will not be refundable.

2. Modify an order

Charges to modify an order apply for the following:

1) For requests to add more number of travelers

Subject to availability of seats.

2) For requests to change to a different tour

Possible only 31 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation charges as above will be applicable over & above the modification service fee.

3) For requests to reschedule tour departure date

This request will not be accepted if the travel date is within 07 days or lesser.

4) For requests to change name of passengers

This request will be accepted until 3 days prior to the travel date, however same service fee as below will be applicable.

3. Notes

1) We recommend all our passengers to avail "Travel Insurance" to protect themselves against personal / natural / manmade exigencies of all kind (including medical & family emergencies, accidents, flight delays, traffic delays, theft or personal- acts of terrorism, natural calamities etc.) that may affect you from participating in our tours (OR) arise while on tour.

2) Globerouter will take no responsibility for matters as stated above under personnel / natural / manmade exigencies.

3) No part / full refund / compensation will be offered to passengers who miss taking our tours (OR) for any un-utilized services, as per the date / time scheduled on the E-Voucher because all services are reconfirmed and prepaid for Charges as mentioned in our "Cancellation / Modification and Refund Policy" would be applicable.

4) All cancellation & tour modification requests should be emailed to info@globerouter.com.

5) We will not accept any cancellation / modification requests made through local tour provider / tour guide (OR) verbal requests made over the phone to our customer support staff / by voice mail

6) Cancellation request emails will not be accepted unless they have a complete, signed and attached "Globerouter Cancellation Request Form".
